It’s been too cold outside to play, so Napoleon and Amara got some time to play together in the office.

Brutus is estimated to be about 2 years old. He’s a gentle boy who gets along with other cats.
He was found trying to feed himself from food residents leave outside for feral cats. One of the neighbors noticed he was bleeding from his ear and was worried he had been attacked by another cat.
After examination, it was clear he hadn’t been attacked but did have an awful ear infection he was trying to soothe by himself. Unfortunately the constant scratching had resulted in an open wound.
Thanks to Pound Pals Downriver, after a veterinary visit and a few weeks treatment, he’s now doing great and ready for a home.

Leo is the sweetest boy! He was found taped up in a box with two other cats. He’s a young boy who came into our care through assistance we were providing to another shelter. He was a bit scared at first but he quickly warmed up to everyone.

Ellis is about 8 months old. He lived with his brother (Victor) and mom (Eloise). They stuck together and ate because a resident was feeding them. When his brother, Victor, was attacked by another animal, Ellis stayed by his side until he received help.
It would be a beautiful happy ending if he were to find a home with his brother.

Martin is a sweet gentle old man who finds himself homeless in his senior years. He’s believed to be about 10-12 years old. He was found as a stray. Though he was found in somewhat rough shape, he appears to have had been loved and cared for at one time. He appears to be housebroken and appears to get along with other dogs.

Hooch is such a good boy! Thank you to everyone who donated for his surgery! It’s scheduled for January 24th. He’s getting all the care he needs and is being kept comfortable until then.
