We are here to serve your pet boarding needs in as close to a home environment as we can provide. PET HAVEN RESORT
“YOU’RE PETS HOME AWAY FROM HOME”
Going on a vacation and can't take your pet with you? Going to work and don’t want to leave your pet alone? Each room has tile floors and a window. For larger dogs or families with multiple dogs we have suites available. We now ha
ve an outdoor area which is very pet safe, designed with the digging or climbing dog in mind. That area has a deck with steps. The other rooms have ramps for those dogs who may have physical challenges to going up or down steps. In addition, for those dogs who have a need for speed (and room), we have a much larger area out back in which they can run and dig and play to their hearts' content. All rooms have air conditioning when it's hot outside, and heat when it's cold. Plus, when it's mild out we've been known to open the windows and turn on the attic fan to freshen and cool the place :-)
Feeding as well as wake and sleep schedules are kept as close to those at home as possible. We find this helps in reducing mental or physical stress. When requested, we still walk boarders. Our goal is to assure your pet receives personalized attention throughout the day. We've even been known to stay with them when storms arise if they're fearful. Whatever it takes to make your pets happy. Things to bring: your pet’s own food and vaccination records (Rabies, Parvo, & Kennel Cough - which will likely be listed as Bordatella). Our goal is to reduce as much stress as possible. That is why we also recommend you bring something such as a towel, shirt or pillow with your scent on it - to help your pet to feel more at home here. Although we provide the following, you can bring them too: dishes, bedding, and leash. Please also make sure to treat your pet for fleas and ticks. We are located in the foothills of the Ozarks, so both abound. We do treat the hotel and land areas, but they literally fall from the trees, so your pet will need any help you can give. Unfortunately, we've had some people abuse our place (as well as their pet) by bringing them here loaded with either fleas or ticks. Please realize that if we find either in any number we'll likely bathe and treat your dog - at an additional charge. We cannot put the other boarders at risk. Unfortunately, due to the lack of demand, when we moved to our current location we did not build any kitty condos. They were a really nice place for cats to visit, but we found most people simply kept their cats at home with adequate food and water when they vacationed. To set up a date to bring your pet, get more info or to set up a time for a tour call (918) 786-4949. Open 7 days a week. We live here, so you can pick up or drop off at any hour - but - we appreciate some advance notice regardless of when you call, so we can make sure we're out front to greet you :-)
Visitors are ALWAYS welcome. In fact, we encourage you to check out the other options available in our community. Please feel free to ask loads of questions - not just there, but here as well. To us, there are no "spoiled" pets, just pampered extended family members :-)
Our address is 64747 E. 225 Rd Wyandotte, OK 74370, about 3/4 mile west off Highway 10 on the east side of Grand Lake (of the Cherokees). If you ever visited our previous location, this one is just another 1/4 mile further down E. 225 Rd. We're still on the same side of the road, and there's still a sign to greet you. But, we now have a circle drive, and no massive hill to tackle :-)

We honor the 4th Commandment - the Sabbath. Well, we honor them all :-) But, must admit that the 4th caused us some difficulty and challenge. However, this is what we decided. In order to honor the Lord, we decided not to charge for services provided from Friday evening through Saturday. We consider it a service to you and your pet, on God's behalf. This is the only way we could have peace about being open and serving your pet. We do ask that you consider either giving what you would have paid for boarding to your congregation, or giving to help the works of the SEED Missionary Aid Society, who help provide native pastors with Bibles, Support materials, clothing, food... We try to focus on the orphans and widows, in keeping with James 1:27 "Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their misfortune and to keep oneself unstained by the world." And... we do try to live the latter part of that passage as well. Please - if you see us living any example other than the Christ's - please feel free to talk with us about it when you're here. We
We reserve the right to refuse anyone service. We regret to make that statement, but we must do so in order to assure the highest standard in pet boarding. Aggressive dogs are definitely not welcome here. Obviously, if we're in danger, we can't serve your animal. And, we can't have pets here who pose a danger to those of others. As such, the owners of any pets displaying aggression will be required to immediately come pick up thier pet, or make other arrangements via the phone. We recommend all animals with health concerns be boarded at your veterinarian. They are equipped to handle emergency health situations. But, we will not refuse your pet due to health issues. We fully understand that most people with ill or aged animals appreciate having a home environment where their pet will feel comfortable. That is certainly your option, and we will do our best to accommodate both you and your pet's needs. . Our website is under construction at this time.
