We had such a wonderful success in collecting Pet Food for Amazing Grace Food Pantry, that we want to keep the holiday cheer going. We are excited to say we will still be collecting Pet Food Donations, until the New Year!

Feel free to stop on by during normal business hours with any unopened dog/cat food to add to our donation bin!

💥Holiday Closure💥

On Thursday, November 28th, Lake Lavon Animal Hospital will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday so our staff may spend time with their family and pets.

We will reopen with limited hours ⏰ (9AM - 4 PM)⏰ on Friday, November 29th.

If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please contact the nearest ER, the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) at (214) 764-7702.

We will resume all regular business hours on Monday, December 2nd.

Lake Lavon Animal Hospital would like to give a BIG THANK YOU, to everyone that helped us donate to Amazing Grace Food Pantry.

Today we were able to donate 70 POUNDS of pet food and 40 POUNDS of cat litter.

"We’re always looking for ways to maximize the care we offer to pets and pet parents while ensuring that our team has a good work-life balance.

*****We’re excited to announce a slight change to our daily schedule:

Beginning July 22nd, we will be closed from 12:15pm to 1:15pm daily for a lunch hour****

We think this change will benefit everyone! Here’s why:

🐾 Rather than staying open but having a two-hour period in which we don’t see appointments, we will have an added hour to see patients.

🐾This closed lunch hour will allow our doctor to make follow-up phone calls and contact pet parents about lab work done the previous day,

Our aim with this change is to optimize our time every day so that we can provide the best possible care to our patients and clients. We hope you’ll find this beneficial and welcome any thoughts or feedback you may have!
