We are so excited and grateful to be a recipient of a Movement Mortgage GraceWorks grant! This grant will go directly towards the care of our therapy horses, like Cactus here. We currently have 11 horses in our program and we couldn't do it without partners in our community. Thank you for your generosity and support, Movement Mortgage!

We can't wait to see you tomorrow at the inaugural Ponies & Peppers Chili Cook-off! This event is rain or shine and will be in the covered arena at Trinity Valley Ranch.

Please drive PAST the "Road Closed" signs on McMillen. The road is open to residents and businesses, and you may drive down it. The driveway is the last driveway on the left before the road is truly closed to through traffic. Drive to the very end of that driveway for the Chili cook-off.

Gardeners! Step right up to our first-ever Muck for Bucks Manure Sale, where you can purchase top quality, high-end (and back-end), straight-outta-the-horse luxury manure for your home garden. It's not every day you can fertilize and fundraise at the same time!

This event benefits not only your spring harvest, but also the therapy horses at Texas Therapeutic Riding Center, who have doo-tifully provided their services to help your garden grow.

Please stop by any time between 9AM - 12PM to grab your bag (or bags) of garden gold. Bags are $10 each and 100% of our p**p earnings go right back into our horses (out one end and back in the other - that's right, we'll be buying hay with this money!).

Please share with your local gardener friends. Also, please note that McMillen Rd. is open for businesses. You may proceed past the road closure signs to come pick up your p**p.

Our Inaugural Ponies & Peppers Chili Cook-off was an amazing event, despite the rain! More than 80 people attended and the chili was on point. A special thanks to: The Powers Family, for bringing this fun event to TxTRC and doing all the coordinating, set up, etc. You guys are the best! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for showing up early to prep and staying to help clean. And thank you to Trinity Valley Ranch for hosting this event at your location. It was the perfect spot!

Painting with Ponies

Hippotherapy at Texas Therapeutic Riding Center

North Texas Giving Day is coming up on September 21st. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This year, we're trying to raise enough money to build an arena at our new place. An arena will allow us to serve more riders in our community and expand our hippotherapy program. Painting with Ponies was a huge hit! The event was sold out and everyone had a good time. The Pony Picassos were a crowd favorite, and it was so fun to see everyone’s art come to life. Stay tuned for details on the next one (maybe around Halloween?!).

Here are some highlights from yesterday! The horses got to try out their new pasture and as you’ll see - they loved it. Thanks again to everyone who came out and built this paddock for the herd - we are so grateful!

Day 1 of fencing our first turnout paddock went great! The herd is going to love daily turnout under these trees. 😍🌳🐴 We are in need of volunteers tomorrow to help complete this project - we’ll be starting at 8am and we’d love to have you join us if you’re available. Come join the fun!

Originally a planned June 1st move, an unforeseen early move date means we still have quite a bit of work to do to get up and running. Every day without riding means another day our horses aren’t able to do their magic for our clients and families. Team TxTRC is calling for all hands on deck to help develop this amazing facility.
