Last but certainly not least is our skin treatment line. This line is just magical and we have seen it do wonders. This line is a 3 step process and is customized to your pets individual needs. The most important thing about this line is consistency and frequency to see the best results.
First is the purifying mask which is made from argyle clay from the Dead Sea. It aids in restructuring damaged hair and reduces static electricity while also making the coat soft and shiny. We apply the mask and then wrap your pet in a warm towel for about 20-30 minutes to allow the pores to open and the mask to clean them out.
The second step is Iv San Bernard’s special combo of Mineral H Plus shampoo, which is naturally antibacterial and Zolfo which is naturally anti-fungal. When battling these types of infections, you can’t have one without the other. When you finally get rid of the yeast, the bacteria is hot on its heels. When you finally get rid of the bacteria, the yeast is hot on its heels. You get stuck in a cycle so this combo battles both at the same time. We apply this step and then put them in our Ozone bath if you’ve added it to your package! Such a miracle worker but knowing the science behind the skin can create miracles!
The third step is ISB’s PH conditioner mixed with a customized blend of oils and add ins to help regenerate and heal your pets skin. The PH conditioner creates a balanced pH in the pet’s skin and hair to allow for proper hydration and aid in healing and protection. It also restores the natural protective layer of the hair and skin. The natural oils and vitamins provide full nourishment. For some pets we add Ginko oil which is noted for its anti-aging affects for the skin. It is a natural relaxant for muscles, an anti-inflammatory agent and helps improve the capillary circulation. Curious on how to get your puppy used to grooming? Here’s some tips!
It’s important to start early, slowly, and often.
Book them with a professional groomer as soon as they have all of their shots.
Start slow and easy! We recommend starting with our Trim Me Up package which includes everything in our bath package plus trimming the face, rounding the feet, and clipping their sanitary areas. This is an easy groom that’s more comfortable for new puppies to handle. Putting vibrating clippers in their bodies can be a little scary so we want to start them with small steps. Before your first grooming appointment, gently touch their feet, face, and body. Rub an electric toothbrush all over their body, feet, and head to get them used to the vibrations from our clippers. Brush and comb them with the proper tools (if your unsure which ones are proper please reach out to us anytime!) Use treats or even their meals as rewards for letting you handle them. Make it fun and relaxing! You want them to be as calm as possible during this, you don’t want them to view it as a game so this is ideal at the end of the night when they are all played out!
Lastly, book often! Puppies need frequent repetition in order to learn just like when teaching them tricks such as sit and stay or potty training. Consider keeping your puppy on a 2-4 week schedule while they’re young and building a relationship with us and extend their appointments out when they are older and more confident with grooming. Schedule an easy nail trim in between grooming appointments to keep up with those sharp puppy nails and to get them used to coming.

Ryder got a makeover today! She had some mats, but with my magic wand we were able to leave her a fluffy princess! The key is to wet cut!
