Did you know 40% of dogs and cats experience some level of pain due to Osteoarthritis (OA)?

OA is arthritis that develops when protective tissue in the joints deteriorates, leading to friction between the bones. Pain from OA can decrease your pet’s willingness to play or exercise.

Take the Pain Checklist quiz to see if they could be showing signs of OA: https://bit.ly/3Z5m7u6

If you suspect your pet may have signs of OA, please contact us so we can help them feel their very best!

Like human babies, kittens go through specific stages needing different care levels. Preparing for these milestones will help you raise a strong, healthy, and happy cat.

If you notice your pet excessively scratching, licking, biting or scooting, contact us so we can determine the cause and treatment plan – then give them a little scratch of love behind the ear! 😊

Did you know more pets go missing on the 4th of July (and the weekends surrounding it) than any other time? Please make sure your pets are microchipped, inside only and steps are taken to make them as comfortable as possible. Do NOT take your pet to the firework display - it’s a terrifying event for them! And if your pet needs medications to help with their noise phobia, we will be back open at 7:30am Monday morning (July 1st) - do not wait until the evening of the 3rd as we will not be able to have those medications available in time 💗 We will be CLOSED on Thursday July 4th for the holiday but will resume normal business at 7:30am Friday July 5th! Be safe, have fun, and Happy Independence Day!! CALL 972-442-1311 or TEXT 972-737-9884
