North Texas Equestrian Center (NTEC)

North Texas Equestrian Center (NTEC) Established in 1985. The main facility is comprised of four adjoining barns and can accommodate up to 100 horses. Arenas are watered and dragged daily.

North Texas Equestrian Center (NTEC) is located thirty minutes from downtown Dallas nestled in 50 acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Lavon in north eastern Collin County. North Texas Equestrian Center offers a wide array of amenities, and provides first rate care for the horse as well as convenience for horse owners. One side of each barn faces a courtyard which contains a covered, lighted a

rena that is approximately 18 x 60 meters in size and features mirrors along two walls. There is also a second covered, lighted arena on the property. Additionally, there is a large lighted outdoor jumping arena with all weather footing, two standard outdoor dressage rings with all weather footing, and a grass field with cross country jumps. Riding trails surround the 50+ acre property for riders to enjoy. Each barn contains a tack room with individual tack lockers as well as multiple cross ties and wash racks for the horse owner’s convenience. Superior construction with high ceilings, concrete walls, individual dutch doors, and numerous ceiling fans keep the horses comfortable in both hot and cold weather. Daily turnout is available for each in horse in spacious individual paddocks with quality grass. A well stocked tack shop is also onsite for the convenience of horse owners, NTEC students, and area residents

NTEC’s dressage team had a fantastic show at DDC’s Lemonade Daze 🍋🐴!!

Highlights:
•NTEC’s “All in One” was 4th level Champion 🥇
•“NTEC Rubicella” competed in her first show with very promising comments from the judges
•“NTEC Best Bon Coeur” was overall Freestyle Reserve Champion 🥈
•Vicki Borowski’s “Valendero 2” competed in his first 4th level qualifier and won all his 3rd level freestyles
•Karleigh Watkins and her own, “NTEC Clarina” were Training Level Reserve Champion 🥈
•Zelda Casanova and her own, “Apollo” were Second Level Champion 🥇
•Hilary Babb and her new pony, “Gayfields King of the Road” had some great rides
