I guess I’m sharing this post as an inspiration to our friends and clients that run into speed bumps along the way with their pup. Whether that pup’s a family member that will hunt, or you have higher aspirations to play the hunt test/trial games, you can do it. Ask questions. Slow down. Be consistent. You’ll get there.

Since meeting Mike in a dark time with my Koda, he was instrumental in helping me understand and work through some major problems that were created by the abuse Koda suffered at the hands of a “pro” trainer. Mike encouraged me not to give up on him. He could see the talent and potential.

A great friend, a man and his two dogs with a wealth of knowledge and exceptional work ethic, that has always been willing to help and support others. For that I thank you my friend. Keep on rolling Mike! You got this.

Our 2024 Field Trial season is in the books.
A few fun facts from our team:

Dylan finished 22 of 24 series in derby
Including a win, and qualified
for the 2024 Derby Nationals
Dylan was also the recipient of WAFTC
Awards: High point Derby Trophy
Nick Bonovich Trophy
Morgan Challenge Trophy

Joni became QAA in her 3rd trial with
a Qual win at 3 years of age. WAFTC
Award: High point Qualifying Trophy.

Finished 65% of trials entered
Together picked up 142 fliers in training
Put 25,000 miles on the truck
Traveled through 16 States
Made 12 stops at Buc-ee’s 😁

There are so many people throughout the Country who have supported us but most of all our amazing training group, we wouldn’t be competitive without them.

Can’t even put into words how much of an honor it was to guide for these American heroes the past two days. My two days given pales to what all these guys have given for all of us.
