I've gotten a few messages about power outages. Please remember that restoration times are never super accurate. And your reptiles should be ok as long as temps stay above 65. If you have hot water, fill bottles to help keep them warm. Make sure they are not too hot! Cover the tanks with a blanket or towel to hold some heat. Turn off your heat sources until power is back on to avoid fire risks if you do cover them. Also a great excuse to cuddle your scaley friends for some warmth.
We do have some colder temps coming. If your power is out long enough for things to get too cold, reach out and I'll try to help the best I can! Space is very limited since spring break boarding is starting up. But I can try to make something work. The store did not lose power.

What if I told you that the more clutter and enrichment your animal has, the more you will see them? Animals left in a bare space will find a good hide, and stay there. Enrichment opportunities draw them out more, and allow you to see more of their natural behaviors.
(Long tail grass lizards at the store popping out while I mist to see if I have bugs)

The store will be closed early today. Between the roads, and temps, hopefully everyone understands. The store temps are set to 75 right now, and though only 2 people have come in, it's still getting cold in here. I will be here a little longer caring for the animals, doors will lock at 3. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Normal hours will resume tomorrow, 11-7.

If you're looking to add to the family soon, tomorrow is a good day! From Saturday to Monday, you can place an animal on hold. But temps will be entirely too low to risk sending them out for the weekend in potential negative wind chills.. As always, you can put them on hold and pickup Tuesday though!
