Our business History
My sister and I have been professional pet groomers for the past 20 years. We previously owned and operated, Keri’s Kritter Kare in Wilkes Barre 1990-1995. This is where we got our start, trail and error via a grooming book. Although the business was successful for 5 years, I decided to take a new career path in the mortgage industry, where I later, opened Homeland Equity Mortgage Co. I then moved to North Carolina where I worked at an elite pet salon that catered to the local rich and famous. There I groomed John Travolta’s dog and also Chad Michael Murray’s from the tv series, One Tree Hill that was filmed down the block from the salon, in Wilmington, NC. My sister, Kristi, currently works at a salon in Mcungie, Pa and I have currently worked at a well known salon in the Back Mountain area. Since we are both experienced in grooming, as well as myself being an expert small business owner, we decided, it was time once again to join our talents and work together to achieve the success we had before. We are love animals, and making them look and feel good.
