Dr. Tiffanie Lynn Walters is a Wytheville, Virginia native. She is a Virginia Tech graduate, as well as a graduate from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a horse named Valentine and a cat named Buster. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, being outdoors, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Walters and her husband, Jason, welcomed Eleanor "Ellie" Blair Delp into the world on May 1st. They have been enjoying bonding with Ellie and acclimating to parenthood over the past few weeks. They would like to thank everyone who has inquired about them and the baby, stopped by, and brought gifts to help with Ellie's welcoming to their home. They appreciate all of you! Ellie is growing and doing well. As you can see, she is already preparing to be Lynn's assistant! Dr. Walters plans to continue her maternity leave and soak up all of the special Ellie snuggles! 👶🍼🎀

We have seen 5 dogs positive for Lyme disease this week! We are not going to stop asking you about preventative measures (Lyme vaccinations and flea/tick prevention medications)! 😖 Please read and share this article!
Transmitted through tick bites, Lyme disease can be hard to detect and cause serious, recurring health issues. It's best to prevent it by preventing tick bites.

Dr. Walters' maternity leave is quickly approaching. She is 37 weeks pregnant and not feeling the best! 🤰 She is having to take more time off as her pregnancy progresses. Thank you all for your understanding! Dr. Walters "officially" goes on maternity leave April 30th for 12 weeks. 🤱
The relief veterinarian, Dr. Megan Viniard, will be working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (alongside with Lynn, our licensed veterinary technician) from 8 am to 5 pm from April 30th through July 19th. We are grateful to have Dr. Viniard filling in
at the clinic. She is very knowledgeable and thorough, not to mention super nice and friendly! 👩⚕️
Lynn, our licensed veterinary technician, will be available on Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm for technician appointments, scheduling appointments with Dr. Viniard, and for RX medicine and food pick-ups. 🐾💊
There will be no Saturday, Sunday or Monday hours during the maternity leave.

If you had a scheduled appointment this week, please do not come, as no one is going to be available. We will call you once we are able and back in the office to reschedule your appointment.
