🚨UPDATE (FRIDAY 13 SEP 2024): We had hoped to remain open through the end of September, but after taking a hard look at the fields (and forecast) earlier this afternoon it’s clear that Mother Nature is nudging us to call it a season! 🍂 TODAY is your LAST day to get your you-pick flower fix here on the farm this year! Again, thank you all for another phenomenal season…we’ll see y’all in Summer 2025!

Bouquet Battle Winner Week 7: The Irrigator

Mitch is finally on the board! And how does one reward themselves for getting their first win of the season? By watching the sun come up and watering the flowers because it’s HOT 🥵 and DRY!

We’ve had people ask this year if we irrigate, and this picture perfectly sums up the extent of our irrigation 😊 💐

Lots of bouquets came out of the fields this weekend, but our joy comes from the people behind the bouquets. Cassie, Justin, Naomi, Marci, Al, Debbie, Beth, Hayley, Blake, Jimmy, Audrey, Leo, and Olga are just a few that come straight to mind from yesterday. Bless you all.

The you-pick flowers fields are open today! We’re grateful and relieved to have so many bloom how DRY ☀️ it is right now. So much so that Mitch got to hand water yesterday! 🤪

Also, we’re thinking about getting a puppy. Should we? 😉 🐶

Sure feeling like fall outside although the 90 degree weather is coming again soon! Football is starting back up and so are the upcoming fall festivals! Come and pick a bouquet while you’re out and about this weekend!

Hoping everyone is adjusting well being back in school. And you know who else is going to school this week? Aubrey? No, probably not since Mitch has been getting schooled the entirety of the season. But he’s taking another shot this week!

One solid benefit of having Lavender is to flavor the sleepy time tea 💤 Add Eucalyptus just to make things smell and look pretty 🌱
Both working well on this chilly night as we harvest a whole heap of tomatoes 🍅
