🐾 We’re Hiring – Veterinary Receptionist 🐾
Location: YHS Spay & Neuter Clinic
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM ; Full-Time

Do you love animals and enjoy working with people? Our busy clinic is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable front desk receptionist to join our team!

What You’ll Do:
📞 Answer phones & schedule appointments
💻 Check clients in & out, process payments
🗂 Maintain accurate client and patient records
🐶🐱 Provide excellent customer service to pet owners

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Strong communication and multitasking skills
✅Positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
✅ Previous veterinary or medical office experience preferred (but not required)
✅ Must be 18 years of age or older due to safety regulations and job responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:
$ Starting pay is minimum wage $16.66 (eligible for raise after 90 days)
After 90 days, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance

Help Keep Our Clinic Laundry Running! 🐾

Our spay and neuter clinic is in urgent need of a donated electric dryer to help keep our clinic laundry and surgical laundry dry and ready to use each day.

We go through a high volume of towels, blankets, and surgical linens — and having a working dryer is essential to keeping things clean, warm, and safe for the animals in our care.

If you have a working electric dryer you’re no longer using, or know someone looking to donate, we’d truly appreciate it!

What a Pawsome Day in Zillah! 🐶🎉

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Zillah Dog Park & Vaccine Event today! We had an amazing turnout—so many happy pups, caring owners, and a fantastic community coming together to support pet health and fun.

From wagging tails at the park to vaccines that help keep our furry friends safe, today was a big win for Zillah’s pet-loving community. Special shoutout to the everyone who came out and helped and made this event a success! 🐾💙

We are now opening up slots for feral cats! However, to ensure everyone with a feral cat has a chance to schedule, spots will be limited per person.

Book your appointment soon! Come down in person during business hours to be scheduled

A Few Important Reminders for Our Clients:

-All feral cats must arrive in a TNR trap. Pet carriers will not be accepted.
-Only one feral per trap. If two cats arrive in the same trap, they will not be accepted.
-Do not trap a feral unless you have a confirmed appointment.
-Check-in may take time. Please be patient, as feral days require a structured intake process.
-Deposits are not required for feral appointments at this time.

📢 Spay & Neuter Appointments Available! 📢

We have reviewed our voicemails, emails, and waiting list from the past few months. If you believe you haven’t been contacted, we went off the information that was shown.

We currently have openings next week, throughout the rest of this month, and a few spots available in March. If you’d like to schedule a spay or neuter appointment for your pet, now is the perfect time!

🚨 The best way to secure an appointment is to visit us in person during business hours, as we require a non-refundable deposit of $50 at the time of scheduling. Though it is not refundable, it does go towards the total cost of surgery.

If you cannot come in person, you are welcome to call or email but again the best way to get you an appointment scheduled right away is coming in person.

That’s right, over 700 animals were spayed and neutered by our clinic Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic in January alone! That’s over 700 animals that will no longer be able to contribute to our pet overpopulation problem. How fantastic is that? Thank you for your continued support. We’re actively working through the waitlist to get everyone scheduled! Please keep the phone number you provided handy and make sure to answer when we call. If we miss you, we’ll leave a voicemail with instructions to call us back.

🗓️ Important Reminder:
As of November 2024, we now require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your spay/neuter appointment. This deposit will go toward the total cost of the procedure. Please have your card ready when scheduling your appointment.

⚠️ Note:
The deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel your appointment, so please plan accordingly.
