I'm not sure how to word this post, as I'm feeling so many emotions I can't even process. Last month, we found out that our house was going be put up for sale. This is the second time in less than two years this has happened to us, and each time, it causes so much stress and anxiety. We searched for properties here but could not find anything that fit the needs of our family. Unfortunately, that means I am moving back to the South, and Southern Heart will no longer be a part of the Yakima community. This is all happening so fast, and I am stressed beyond belief. We still have a bunch of kitties in foster homes that need to find their forever homes and a debt of over $2k we owe to our spay and neuter clinic. I need your support more than ever. If you can donate to pay down our debt, it would be amazing. But also adopt our amazing kitties and add a wonderful family member to your family. I'll be having one last yard sale next weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 8-4 at 818 S. 48th Ave. Most importantly, though, I want to thank each and every one of you for 5 years of support and love. Thanks to you all, we've been able to save thousands of cats in Yakima County and the surrounding areas between our adoption program and TNR. You all have kept me going when I thought I would give up. I'm eternally grateful to you all and am sending all my love your way.
Please share our posts going forward, donate if you can, and come say goodbye to me at our yard sale next Saturday and Sunday. 🖤
