Lower Makefield Township, PA is collecting resident feedback relating to Community Day (also referred to as Community Pride Day). As you are likely aware, the event was not held in 2024. In 2025, while no decision has been made by the Township, the Township is discussing the potential of conducting the event. As
part of that process, we want to hear from you! This feedback will help us ensure that the expectations and needs of the community are being met while at the same time, we are being responsible stewards of public funds.

To provide some context relating to past costs, in 2023, the Township spent approximately $47,000 in direct external costs with an additional $23,000 in staffing costs. Of this $70,000 of gross costs, $22,130 was offset through sponsorships and vendor fees. This was in addition to unquantifiable in-kind contributions. In 2023, the net cost to the Township was $47,870.
