Monarch on Iron Weed, woodland cleared of honeysuckle, the sounds of the cottonwood
Moth Night at Cedar Bog Nature Preserve and I found a Camouflaged Looper on some Yarrow! Keep your eyes open for these during the day on all of your native flowers! They eat the flowers and attach pieces of the petals to their backs as camo! Love our nighttime pollinators and I learned a lot!
Yesterday we inspected the swarm we captured, inspected and split our big “middle hive”. Gave them two more fresh supers today (not shown). Learning/thinking/working!
I promise they are not starving even tho they act like that, they just know I have treats for them
Clearing Amur Bush Honeysuckle along Gaunt Park. Cannot wait to open up the woods and create paths for my neighbors to enjoy 🥰🌳🧚🏼♂️🧌
February morning with the chickens! I hardly ever catch them leaving the coop because of my automatic coop door from @runchickendoor #sleepin #smallfarm #chickencoop #mobilelayers
A visit to the chicken yard with a treat from @mazu.eats (they love it!!)
Unloading compost from my ebuggy trailer
