Volunteers can meet you almost anytime including weekends to meet fur babies just email/call to ensure a volunteers presence (Sundays too!) Humane Society of Marion County is a small nonprofit, no kill, all volunteer animal rescue group in North central Arkansas, closest to the rural city of Yellville, but outside city limits. We are just volunteers trying to help animals! Everyone is a volunteer,
no one is paid. We love volunteers!!! Adoption rates are nonrefundable and are $75.00. The furry friends all have been spayed/neutered, up to date on annual shots , given flea/ tick preventative and dewormed. If a pet is adopted and for any reason the adopter cannot keep the pet, we have an open door policy to always take them back into our care. Potential adopters must fill out an application and adoption contract. Visits to our dog shelter and cat free range house are available by appointment. Our volunteers would love to show you around!
