Piper has only had one owner and one trainer so she has a clean history and solid start. Started as a three year old, Piper learned to w/t/c and then went home with her family. Due to a busy life with toddlers, Piper wasn't ridden much so she came back for more experience and to find a home where she would be utilized. Piper has been ridden in different arena's, hauled, ridden outside, worked cattle, had little toddlers crawl all over her, had a rope swung off her, will open/close gates, ride alone or in a busy horse show environment. She has just enough go that she holds her own gates without a lot of continuous encouragement from her rider, but she's also content to stand around and hang out or just go for a leisurely ride. No vices or quirks. Ground ties and is a very easy keeper.

Welcome to the new home of Jason Nagel Horsemanship, Jason Nagel and Tonna Brooks.

We are excited to announce that we have purchased a 71-acre facility in Yoncalla, OR. The ranch is located just 35 miles south of Eugene and is 1.5 miles off of Interstate 5 allowing for easy access with any size rig and easy pull through parking.

Our new facility will allow for the expansion of services offered including Training, Lessons, Outdoor Ranch Trail Course, Cattle Lessons, and Clinics.

Highlights include:

* 100 ft All-Weather Round Pen for cattle work
* 65 acres of outside/trail riding w/ creeks and other natural
obstacles

Dad (Wayne Brooks) and I had a great weekend judging at the Pacific Northwest Ranch Horse Association Moolah on the Lake show in Moses Lake, WA. The exhibitors were great, we some really nice horses, and the show staff are superb!

The Pacific Northwest Ranch Horse Association is also an affiliate of the National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance (championship show held in conjunction with the VRH World). So if you are looking to get qualified, check out their shows!

Baby season is in full swing.
The goats are all done: our two Oberhasli does each had a baby boy and a baby girl this month (all looking for new homes and can be registered)

Calving season started with a nice little steer. We’ve got three more on the way!

We’ve got 2 steers and a heifer calf from last year that could go to new homes as well as a long horn momma.

Last month Sandra Henry & Jason Nagel’s mare, Little Filinic, had a beautiful, strong stud c**t that we are excited to see grow!
