Just look at this darling guy! Hard to believe rescuers picked him up off the streets of Yonkers. He's been to the veterinarian and is ready to find a new and safe home. What personality! Right now he's in foster care. He's very friendly! Please share, friends. Thank you.

Can we make lightning strike in the same place twice? Friends, thanks to this very page, Sasha (see previous post below) has found an excellent home--and we can't be more pleased with that wonderful outcome.

Now we've heard of another beautiful cat that urgently needs a new home! A 95-year-old man living in Yonkers will be entering a nursing home at the end of this month--and he can't take his precious cat with him. We do wish more facilities would allow pets!

Sadly, no friend, neighbor or family member has stepped up to give his cat a good home. His cat is four years old, friendly, spayed, affectionate and in very good condition. We love black cats! This one is sleek, shiny, satiny, velvety and she talks! She's very well taken care of.
You can see how friendly she is here! Is anyone interested? Please share friends! Can we work some magic again?

Contact information for the man's social worker who is helping out with the transition: Jessica Colon, [email protected], 914-356-6990.

Thank you.

***UPDATE***

Happy to report that Sasha is doing very well in her new home and is enjoying it a lot! Thank you to everyone who inquired, cared and commented!

TO ALL OUR ANIMAL-ENTHUSIAST FRIENDS: We're trying to re-home this sweet and docile female cat, Sasha. She is currently living alone in an empty house that's for sale on a nearby Eastchester street.

While she has her most basic needs met at this time (food/water), we need to find a more permanent home and can't leave her to the mercy of the new homeowners.

Sasha is an adult spayed tortie/dilute calico, very friendly, healthy, curious, and loves attention. It's very sad to see her there by herself being ignored while various people come and go.

Do you know anyone interested in giving her a loving home? Any inquiries or interest please text to 347-257-0372. Please share!

Here's more info/details from the owner:
I am desperately looking to re-home my parents' cat. Her name is Sasha and she is the absolute sweetest girl in the entire world. I found her on the black horse pike in Atlantic City when she was super young and super pregnant. After she had her babies she was spayed and had a round of vaccinations. My parents have had to move into an apartment for 55+ and we’re unable to bring her. If you or anyone you know may be interested please reach out to me. I’ve been posting in various groups for rehoming/adopting animals in Westchester/Dutchess/Orange County for a while now to no avail. She truly is the sweetest girl and I just want her to find a family who will love her just as much as she loves back. She is amazing with children. She loves to bask in the sun and be petted. We are all absolutely devastated to have to re-home her and are praying to find someone to bring her in. Please please reach out if you have any further questions!
