Petey wants a home
Petey is one of the longest residents at Friends of Yonkers Animal Shelter. He is heee more than 2 years. One of our rescue partners has been trying their best to find Petey a foster however that’s no easy feat these days. He even has a financial grant from the Franklin Angus Fund so he can brush up on his skills. Can you help ? Sharing is so important. A couple of clicks and Petey will be seen by many more people. Please do that for him. Questions 201-981-3215 for a foster application please email [email protected]
Meet Quasi a young cat with a hereditary disability. It doesn’t affect him in any way, but how he walks It gives him an odd gait, but he can get everywhere he can climb he can jump up on the bench. He seems to be able to do whatever any other Cat could do just maybe not as fast.
He’s also the friendliest cat in the room. He’s at the door to greet you when you come in and to escort you back to the door when you have leave, we desperately want to find him a home ad he needs to be with people. He’s so friendly he likes to be pet . He likes to be cuddled a little and he likes to play. Please listen to his video and see if you might be able to help him. Once again we thank the amazing Amy Grossman this time for 400 colored bandanas used in behavioral coding. These are so@important to have as they make it so easy to know at a glance what category each dog is If you take a moment to watch this cute video of Dan T ( shelter behaviorist and trainer ) giving Trudie ,one of our favorite dogs her bandana , you will learn more enjoy every one and thanks again Amy
Thank You Amy❤️❤️❤️🐶❤️❤️❤️Yes once again we would like to thank the amazing and generous friend of the Friends of Yonkers Animal Shelter, @freedomridersbrooklyn who donated approximately 40 cases and bags of wet and dry dog food. Our friend Sage ( who is now adopted ) was doing a taste test with volunteer Barbara and she certainly seemed to approve
