Felix is a guardian breed. Which means that none of the training we do today would be possible if it was for consistent socialization from the moment I got him until now. Corsos genetics tell them that loud noises, and strangers are potential threats. Their protective nature means that a misunderstanding can lead to people getting hurt. The way owners prevent that is by showing their digs that noises are normal, and 99.9% of people in the world mean no harm.
