KRK Barrel Horses started off the new year right attending the New Years Day race! 🥳 All of our riders did fantastic, and we’re eagerly awaiting the next one. One of our teams, Brielle and Scooter, already accomplished their goal she had set for 2025! We’re excited to have our goals of attending WCBRA Finals this year! What are some of your goals for 2025? 🤩

It’s the end of the year and approaching January, which means it’s time for all our loved lesson horses to get the vet care that makes them happy and healthy to work all year long! 🩺 We are so grateful for our team of horses and all they provide, we try to provide them with the best care. In January all 6 horses will need their teeth floated (approx $350 per horse), this flattens out any sharp points they’ve created and keep them feeling their best. Additionally, our horses are provided joint injections every 6-12 months pending the horse and their needs (approx $800-1500 depending the amount of joints receiving injections), which allow them to continue to move comfortably and provide the best quality rides and competitions for our horses! All of our KRK lesson horses - Wicked, Boots, Smurf, & Scooter - receive injections either yearly or twice a year.
If you would like to donate to a partial bill, or sponsor a procedures full bill for your favorite lesson horse please let us know! When donating partially towards a bill you’ll get a special gift from your favorite lesson horse. If sponsoring a full bill, you will get a discounted lesson price for the month of January, in addition to a special thank you gift from your favorite KRK horse. 🥰

KRK Barrel Horses had a great day at the Wine Country Barrel Racers Jackpot today! With the second time entering for Kayla and Bumble, as well as Sterling and I, we saw big improvements. Brielle and Scooter, and Daniella and Smurf, had great runs as well, killing it for their first runs on these horses. Way to go girls, so excited to see continued growth from everyone! 🔥

Our program is thrilled to offer lessons that have not been affected by the time change! With the amazing facility’s at Nohl Ranch Saddle Club we are able to utilize, getting darker earlier has not caused a disruption in our lesson timing. With the paths being lit up, as well as our stalls, arenas, and cross ties providing light, we have no issues as it gets darker earlier! We are also thankful for the covered arena, that will allow us to continue riding as weather may change and rain is on its way! 🌧️

Our camps are BACK and better than ever! 🥳 So thrilled to offer our camps in our new location, with use of our amazing facility. With improved and increased riding time now offered, as well as the ability to have more hands on experience. We are so excited for our improved camps!
December 7th will be our only 2024 date, and this camp is offered to beginner and intermediate riders. Ages 7+, with no previous experience required. Spots are limited to 9 riders, so reserve your spot quick as they tend to fill up fast!
Starting 2025 we are excited to be offering more of these camps, as well as adding an advanced camp to our schedule! Be on the lookout for that if you’re and advanced rider who has wanted to participate.

It’s been a season of ups and downs, but after the last gymkhana of the FRR season today I can say for a fact we finished it on a high! There has been such an amazing amount of growth this year, and it fills my heart with joy to see these riders continue to pursuer their passions and put in the hard work. What a great last show, with all of our riders running new personal bests! Emerson and Smurf won Reserve Champion for the day in 7Jr, and Sam and Boots won Champion for the day in 7Sr. Next stop - state championships! 🔥

Always loving our lesson times! ❤️ With school getting back in to session be sure to book a lesson with us. With kiddos being back in school we have more morning openings for our adult riders or homeschooled kiddos! There are still some afternoon and evening times open, so make sure to catch those open times because availability is limited!
We’re excited to offer two different monthly packages, weekly and biweekly, as well as the option to schedule on a week to week basis as needed. Make sure to take advantage of our end of summer deal when booking a monthly package, September is the last month to utilize the $25 off!
