NEW SESSION OF CLASSES STARTING:



Hello all!!!

Our next session is scheduled to begin Saturday February 15th for the following classes:

February 15th 9-9:50 am AKC STAR Puppy 6-week course $225- Puppies MUST be under 6 months old and have their second set of shots. Puppies will learn socialization and bite inhibition, basic commands, such as, loose lease walking, sit and down and any naughty behavior issues you have concerns about will be addressed.

February 15th 10-10:50am Level 1 Obedience 6-week course $250-Limit 8 students. You will learn basic commands, please see the website www.perfectpawsu.com for full description.

We also offer private training for all classes and behavioral issues at our facility or your home.

YOU WILL NEED TO REPLY TO THIS EMAIL AND WE WILL SEND YOU THE PAPERWORK FOR ENROLLMENT AND PAYMENT MUST BE MAILED OR DROPPED OFF BY APRIL 6TH!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! IF YOU WANT TO DROP PAPERWORK OFF PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.

There are a couple openings for daycare, cost is $35 for a full day (discounts for multiple days) and $28 for a half day Your pup will enjoy a fun filled and tiring day!!!! We also offer specialized training while in daycare if you have any issues.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also have kennel suite boarding with air conditioning and radiant floor heat. Multiple private playtimes per day!

Due to the overwhelming responses to level 1 obedience class on Saturday mornings we had to start another class for level 1 at 11 am. There are a few openings available, pm if interested. NOTE: This is different than puppy kindergarten class!

One more reason we do not use or recommend the "gentle leader or other harnesses that come across the dogs face.

Here is the vascular system in a canine head. This highlights the enormous amount of blood flow in the dogs nose. This blood flow serves many purposes, fuels the scent chambers, aids in temperature regulation, allows dogs to effectively track, but this also makes the dogs nose incredibly sensitive to touch. This is the main reason you should not use face harnesses. There are plenty of tools designed to communicate with dogs that do not put pressure on one of their most sensitive features. Whoever wrote this is spot on!

•Pet your dog, all the time
•Talk to your dog, all the time
•Allow your dog to follow you, all the time
•Allow your dog to be on your lap or laying on your feet, all the time
•Pet, soothe, comfort your dog when it whines or barks for attention...or is simply anxious
•Allow your dog to demand affection/interactions
•Be emotionally dependent on your dog to the point that unhealthy dependency and interactions are no longer noticed
•Allow your dog to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants—aka, provide no structure, rules, or accountability
•Foster an environment of chaos, stress, and anxiety
•Refuse to train and pattern calmness
•Refuse to crate train your dog
•Refuse to correct your dog when inappropriate behavior occurs
•Refuse to train your dog how to be independent/alone by using a “Place” command, “Downstay, and/or “away” time in the crate
•Let your dog out of the crate when it whines or barks
•Avoid training or anything that makes your dog temporarily uncomfortable or unhappy—in other words, cater to your dog’s every desire/need, designing your life around your dog, rather than having your dog fit into yours
•And many, many more...

Basically, baby, soothe, allow, enable, disable, lean on, omit teaching necessary life skills, prioritize what feels good for you rather than what does good for your dog, and through this master plan of leadership-free chaos, and systematic cultivation of creating a toxic dependency between dog and human...you’ll ensure that when you leave, your dog will be a true emotional mess, because you haven’t prepared them to be calm, obedient, strong, resilient, robust, independent, and alone.
