Sometimes all you need is a cuddle! Miss Mera came in today for an upset belly. She just finished receiving some fluids under her skin to make sure she is nice and hydrated. She sat on technician Krystal's lap the entire time. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. Doggie snuggles are the most rewarding moments! Some days are harder than others in this field, but we do it all for them!

Some days, we see some crazy things that shock even us! Peach came in today with a screw sticking out of her paw! We took a radiograph to see how far in it went. The reason we suggest radiographs for penetrating wounds is to give us an idea of the length of the foreign object, or to ensure no additional objects are present. Our amazing vet, Dr. Thomas gently unscrewed the screw to get it out, hoping to prevent further trauma. The wound left behind was thoroughly flushed, and she'll go home with some pain medications and antibiotics to prevent infection. Peach was a wonderful patient, and we are so happy to be here to help her feel better!

Meet little Hiss! Despite her name, Hiss is the sweetest little kitten in the world! She found her new family in New York! They were packing up to head home, she sensed her puurrrfect family was near by and came running to them! Welcome to the family, Hiss!💜🐱

Handsome Winston came to visit us today! We're happy to report he is already feeling so much better! Our technician/manager Krystal had to hide in the room with him for a little bit, just for some play time with this polite handsome man! When she stopped giving him some love, he would politely paw at her feet until she played some more! You were a favorite of the day Winston!

May is Chip Your Pet Month - Pets with a microchip have a much better chance of making it home. Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting this sweet little girl Lyla a 7 month old Shiba Inu. She was in need of an Echocardiogram due to her heart murmur. ❤️ Thank you Veterinary Imaging of Central PA for performed her scan at our location. We hope everything works out for her. 🙏
