PETUNIA WAS WELCOMED TO THE ADOPTION FLOOR WITH A DOGGY DAY OUT

Petunia enjoyed a Doggy Day Out with ambassador Mary. Here is what she had to say.

"Petunia, what a great dog! I looked up the Blue Heeler and it's believed to be the most intelligent dog breed. I can see why. No problem getting into the car and she sat like a perfect lady. Went for a walk and she was great on a leash. Definitely seems house broken. Inside she was curious but cautious. Loved some space to run and chase balls. Knows to bring the ball back and fetch again. We went to the market and she was shy but very happy to see people. What a great dog! Excellent companion ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜"

Thank you for showing Petunia that life outside the kennel is for living on a โค๏ธ

One great way to support our shelter animals is to donate to our volunteer group. Donations that they raise directly go to support the animals in our care.
This consider donating to Friends of York County Animal Shelter .

This Giving Tuesday, weโ€™re calling on your generosity to make a BIG difference for the animals at the York County Animal Shelter. ๐Ÿพ

Every year, countless animals come through the shelters doors. With your support, we can help them get a second chance at life. By donating, youโ€™ll help:

๐Ÿ’– Provide essential supplies to keep them healthy and comfortable
๐Ÿš— Fund transportation to rescue organizations that save lives
๐Ÿก Give animals a chance to find their forever homes that they might not otherwise have had- many due to medical or cruelty reasons.

For some of these animals, transportation is the key to survival. By covering the costs of transport, it removes that part of the financial burden from rescues and ensures they can focus on giving these animals the love and care they deserve.

Join us this Giving Tuesday to make a direct impact. Together, we can help more animals get the second chance they deserve!

๐Ÿ’™ Your donation will make a life-saving difference! ๐Ÿ’™

BRRRR. IT'S GOING TO BE CHILLY TONIGHT
Tonight, there will be below freezing temperatures. The best place for pets is always inside with their family.
If a pet must remain outside, remember that you must provide adequate shelter that gives protection from the cold and rain. The structure must have straw or shavings to provide insulation.
Please practice cold weather pet safety!
