A+F is a growing & professional pet care company, servicing clients in York County and currently accepting applications for part time team members. This is a as needed position (with the possibility of growing into a steady weekly position with dedicated clients/visits). We are seeking dog walkers and pet sitters (both drop ins and overnight/live in services when needed). Ideal candidates will be friendly with excellent customer service skills, highly organized, detail oriented, have the ability to multi task, team player, and LOVE pets (not just the cute & fluffy ones)! A flexible schedule is a huge plus!
Responsibilities -
Provide high-quality, professional, and loving care to all pets assigned. Including, but not limited too, feeding, administering medication, exercise, waste clean up, and giving them lots and lots of love!
Must be comfortable working with all breed & sizes of dogs and all types of animals.
Using our company’s app to write up a short report/update to send to the client along with a picture(s) after each visit.
Update management with any client updates on pets, locations, keys, instructions.
Be able to keep an attentive eye out for issues, updates, and overall quality care of all the pets in your care.
Requirements -
Experience caring for dogs & other pets. Dog walking/pet care experience preferred.
Must have a current driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
High level of patience, calm demeanor, and problem-solving attitude.
Have extreme attention to detail regarding written instructions and pet health.
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. (bonus points if you have great photography & photo editing skills with your camera phone)
High energy, even higher integrity required.
Self-motivated and able to stay on task with little or no supervision.
Friendly and outgoing personality, able to interact with clients and co-workers in a consistent
