Since 1962, Shady Lane Farm has taught riders to have solid foundations in riding and horsemanship.

We believe that the best riders truly understand their horses and that good horsemanship is the basis for good riding. Manager and head trainer Alex Dunaif was a top junior rider, national champion and accomplished show jumper. In 2011 Alex became one of the first professionals to be selected into the Trainer Certification Program by the United States Hunter Jumper Association. In both our Bedford

and Yorktown barns, we offer full and basic board. Our facilities have well-ventilated 12 x 12 stalls, a variety of paddocks, a fire safety system and staff living on premises. We keep your horse happy and healthy with excellent hay, grain, supplements and individualized care.
