It's almost that time of year. January 2 of every year begins the sale period of our "Give Back" Puppy Love cookie. With each $2 cookie purchased you give a blind vote for a rescue organization of your choice and $1.00 of the cookie sale goes into a pot. You don't know which rescues are on the customers' preferred list as it's developed as the cookies are sold. It continues until February 14 (Valentines Day) where we show our Puppy Love and the rescue with the most votes gets the pot. I do this for both the Southside from our Norfolk store and the Peninsula from our Yorktown store. We have donated thousands of dollars to rescues over the years. But wait, there's more! When you purchase a dozen "Give Back" Puppy Love cookies at a time, not only do you place twelve votes for your favorite rescue, but you get a FREE Gangsta Dog wine glass, while they last.
