And as the summer inevitably comes to an end so do the markets. Our website lists all of our upcoming events/craft fairs. And will have a list of pickup locations/dates/times as we move into winter.

We are now collecting email addresses for our winter newsletter. The winter newsletter will have a list of our events and the upcoming pickup dates and times. We will send it out no more than twice a month. There are two ways you can sign up for the newsletter, you can ask for an emailed receipt at the markets or you can sign up on our website.

And of course we will be listing all of this information on FB as well.

Due to inclement weather heading our way the 7/11 Westfield Farmers Market has been canceled. This was not an easy decision but it was made in the best interest for the safety of all involved. We will see you next week!

I wasn't able to share the post but I can share the recipe! Want a fun, quick and easy treat to make at home? Try Doggy Ice Cream! Simple ingredients and no specialty tools required.

We recommend using Fresh Thyme fresh ground peanut butter but anything without xylitol will work. We also recommend using yogurt that has no sugar or artificial sweeteners.

Westfield market is not scheduled this week due to the city's 4th of July gathering. Just let us know if you need treats.

Greenwood and Yorktown are on their normal schedules.

It's going to be another hot day tomorrow at the Greenwood Indiana Farmers Market. Remember the market is on asphalt that will get very hot as the day heats up. If you like to bring your dog, please come out as early as possible. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Before you stop by the Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market on Jan 27, did you know there are 3 ways to extend your money at the market?

It’s one of our goals to make fresh, local foods accessible and we’re so glad to be able to offer 3 programs that make that possible.

1) We have been approved through the USDA to accept SNAP, formerly known as food stamps. Please go directly to the USDA website to learn more about this very important program and please don’t fall for SNAP scams that appear in the comments every time we post about SNAP. https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/supplemental-nutrition-assistance-program

2) We’ve also been awarded a grant from Double Up Indiana, so if you swipe your SNAP/EBT card at our market, we’ll be able to double the amount you receive up to $20 (so if you swipe for $20, we can give you $40). Ask at our welcome table at the market for more details.

3) The Power of Produce is a fun way to give children through 8th grade buying power at the market. Each week that a child stops by the welcome table, we will give them a $2 token to buy fresh produce at the market.

Our amazing farm and food vendors will have a sign at their table telling customers what tokens they accept.

We've had to cancel our January pickup. We'll be down in Greenwood (southside) February 11 from 1 to 2 pm. We apologize for the inconvenience!

In the meantime, you can find us at the Westfield Markets every Saturday or Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market on January 27. If you need treats before February and don't want to drive to the northside (or Yorktown!), we do offer shipping.

The Market takes place every Saturdays from 9 am - Noon starting January 6 and concludes on March 9.
