Hello everyone,

I am making a courtesy post for Youngstown Community Cat TNR about a cat I helped catch.

We are looking to place this kitty as barncat so we don't have to release her back into the parkinglot at YSU. She's semi-feral. This is a time sensitive issue because her current placement is very temporary.

Kitty is spayed, vaccinated, and negative for all the nasty stuff.

If anyone has a barn where they might be willing to let a pretty little gal live out her days, please let us know. Or give this a share to help her find a home for the holidays!

Hi everyone. It has been a long time since you have heard from us.

We would like to let everyone know that we plan on retiring our group by the end of the year. We will finish our affairs with our current animals under our care (we have a handful to adopt out), and we will find supplemental care for the campus colony, but we are not taking on any new projects or animals.

We will no longer be doing TNR or rescue through Campus Cats. The reasoning is simply because life is causing our group members to move onto bigger and better things.

Our individual members will still help animals where and when they can, but life is causing many changes. Some may be health related. Relocations are a factor. There are many things that have led us to this choice.

We have accomplished amazing things with this group, including the spay and neuter of over 1,000 cats in 4 years. We could not have done this without your help and support.

Any funds we currently have will be used towards vet bills for our current cats, or it will be used to support of the colony under its future caregivers (more on that later).

This is a quick summary of what is happening, and we will continue to be posting any adoptable animals or updates until the year comes to a close.

Our sweet girls Tic & Tac are still looking for their forever homes!! Tic looks like she will be Longhair and Tac will probably be short! Both are very loving kittens and would love a family to love them!

Big life changes are going on for everyone at Campus Cats, and although we are still discussing how to proceed, please know that currently:

**1) We will NOT take in anymore cats, kittens, or rescue animals.*** We DO still have adoptable cats, but will not take more. The answer has to be no.

2) We cannot make courtesy posts about rehoming other people's animals at this time until we find homes for our own adoptables.

Sorry for any inconveniences. We will update everyone about the decisions we make regarding future of our work, the group, and what is best for our personal lives when we get it sorted.

We are running a special on Ms. Duchess! Her adoption fee will be dropped to $50 for this week. She is a SUPER sweet cat that is finally done with having babies. We suspect she is under 3 years old.

Duchess is super sweet and loves people. She did great on her car rides too. She has beautiful long fur. We want her to find a home, and we know everyone will probably gravitate towards her babies first. We are hoping someone will consider a sweet, young momma instead.

We cover spay and rabies. If interested, please message us!

Salad the male kitten needs a place to go immediately. His owner is threatening to throw him in a colony TONIGHT after the landlord found him and said he had to go (despite being warned this would be illegal abandonment).

A roomate is willing to pay for his neuter and suspects he is between 16-20 weeks old now. She says he is cuddly, great with other cats, and a little vocal. He is located in Youngstown.

Let me know if you are interested and I can direct you to the roomate trying to find a place for him.

Update: FOSTER FOUND ❤️❤️❤️❤️

TEMPORARY foster needed immediately! SHE WILL BE KILLED IF NOT PLACED BY MONDAY.

She is in Cleveland ohio.

Placement is needed for 1-2 months, OR until we can find another person who can commit to the 1-2 months.

VET WILL NO LONGER KEEP AT OFFICE!!!

Lucy has been in boarding at the vets for 30 days that is the max about of time they will let a dog stay. And that's only because it's a rescue. ONLY HAS TILL MONDAY

She just had her leg amputated and stitches just came out but she is still under going heartworm treatment. The only thing you would need to do is take her to a heartworm treatments in Cleveland in 30 days, and one more after another 30 days (if you have her for the full 2 months).

Over 70-80 rescues have been contacted with no luck. Boarding facilities won't take her due to medical issues.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP US FIND A TEMPORARY PLACE FOR LUCY. JUST WHILE WE FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR HER TO GO.

You guys might remember Mr. Monk / Tiberius (pulled from the neglect case). Well today was an adventure for one of our cats... he took to the skies!!!

He flew to New Mexico today. His adopter (who loves him very much) ran into some landlord issues and could not find a temporary foster, so he is now living with their sister in New Mexico! He is going to have loads of fun there!

Tiberius did great on the flight! He has always been a laid back boy.

Hello!

Mama Sharona is still reaching for her forever home! She can be quite shy at first, but a little patience some food and some pets and she becomes your best friend. She is still nervous about new animals, so slow introduction would be best. She is spayed and ready to go home today! Adoption fee is $60!

Whisper

Everyone meet baby Whisper (name subject to change). She was found in a parking deck on campus and she is EXTREMELY underweight. When she was wet after her bath last night she only weighed 0.7lbs!!! Whisper is doing a great job. She is purring and taking a lot of naps. She is also eating and her poops are solid. She will be going to a foster home until she can put on more weight, but if anyone is interested in adopting Whisper, message us!

Update: Foster found!!! Everywhere is packed full with babies (including us) and we CANNOT take in these little ones, so we are asking for you to share and look for people who would be interested in this group of bottle babies. I would be willing to train someone if they have never taken in bottle babies before. This would be a great way to mark volunteer hours for high school and college stduents However, we cannot assist financially or take responsibility for this little group. This is a courtesy post. Need foster

We are looking for someone to foster a group of 4 kittens for about 2-4 weeks. We would need someone to take them in sometime next week, when they are 6 weeks old. You would need to keep them until they are at least 8 weeks old and can go to new homes. Please remember these kittens are being pulled from a feral mom and right from the outdoors. They might have fleas and worms (we will provide meds for those when they reach proper age), among other possibilities. They do appear healthy to us or we wouldn't foster them out. If you are interested, please message us ASAP!

We have double the fun here! This is Blacklight and Abyss the two kittens we have left available. Blacklight is about 14-15wks old and already spayed ready to go. She is a really sweet cats that has lots of energy but when it’s nap time it’s time to snuggle Abyss is about 13wks old and will be spayed on the 10th and ready to go home on the 11th. She is a sweet little bundle of energy with a purr of just love. If interested in either kitten or both just message us! We have a little application to get to know you and then we set up a meet greet!

This is Plushie one of our adoptable kittens. He is about 18wks and already neutered with rabies vaccine. Plushie loves other animals and to play with toys. He just doesn’t have the confidence with people yet. If your quiet or calm he will will come to you for pets or you can gently walk up to him to pet or snuggle. But he will need someone that understands he is just unsure. Plushie would better in a home with other animals but without small children.
