I’m Zoey!!
I’m supposed to tell you about myself…hmmmm where to start?!!!
Well, I found myself at the local dog pound for a few months in 2024. While the people there were super nice to me, I’m so happy to be in my foster home. I got to go there on New Years Eve and had a GREAT time ringing in the New Year in a home. I got to go to the vet, at which they said I was a VERY sweet girl. The vet thinks I’m about 5 years old, but I certainly don’t act my age. I’m healthy, spayed, and fully up to date on my vaccines & preventatives.
I LOVE to play with my foster dog cousin that is only about 4! We have so much fun together. And I LOVE to run around in the yard too! Once I’m tired out from play, I like to just chew on a bone or take nice LONG naps! Oh yeah and I love to cuddle too!
In addition to my foster cousin, I currently live with 3 other dogs (seniors), 2 cats (whom I am great with!), and my foster mom & dad. I haven’t been around kids really, but I’m pretty sweet to everyone I meet. Just love attention and TREATS, which I take very gently!!
I am housebroken, sleep well in my “room” (crate), and don’t even mind car rides! I’m pretty much a happy and fun-loving girl that would love a home and family to call my own!!

💙 NAME: Duggy
🩵 AGE: 5-6 years
💙 WEIGHT: 9-10 lbs

🩵LIKES: Attention, getting petted, Napping and going outside. Shopping! Car rides

⚠️DISLIKES: nervous being picked up (but is getting so much better), he will jump up when he wants up. Not necessarily a snuggler, but will lay beside you when we wants. He is a lap dog, will jump up.

🐾PERSONALITY: Quiet, very loving will alert to outside noises. Loves people, Very social.

🐕ENERGY LEVEL: medium, more active outside

❤️FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: getting attention, doesn't play with toys. Lap dog. Loves to go on outings, especially to the pet store!

😍 TREAT: only prescription treats

🐾EATING SCHEDULE: 9 am and 5 pm

🎯GOOD WITH CATS, DOGS, KIDS OVER 6? yes to cats and dogs, good around the kids he's been exposed to, however a loud chaotic home isn't his ideal environment.

📌HOUSE TRAINED: Yes, he currently goes out about every 4 hours, except at night.

✔️SIGNALS TO GO OUT: scratches at door, runs around to get your attention

❎️CRATE TRAINED: Yes, he is good in crate, but doesn't need to be. He does like his crate to relax in.

🔵CHALLENGES: Not in love with grooming, but learning. Guessing his previous owner didn't have him groomed often. He's doing better each trip he goes to be groomed.

✅️MEDICAL ISSUES: had Pancreatitis, will now need prescription food, which he does like.

🩵THE BEST HOME: Not left alone for long periods of time. Someone that will respect him and love him. He is the sweetest little guy, and we promise to find him a forever family who will love him.

And the beat goes on.. Duggy, aka Duglas Edward, Duggy Dug Dug… continues his search for the right home, he's Ready!! With us it’s never about the first application, there’s no race to place him – it must be the right fit for him, for you, for your other pets – we make sure it’s a fit for Everyone. He’s had several applications, and meetings (remember he had a delay due to his awful bout with pancreatitis) but he’s now ready to find his match.

· He’s a LOVE – very social and friendly

· Prescription food required

· Needs a patient groomer

· Good with cats, kids, small dogs

· Dogs his size; no medium dogs

· Rides great in the car

· Loves going shopping and on outings

AGE: 2yrs
WEIGHT: 52 lbs

LIKES: loves to play fetch and just hang out beside you and be loved on.

DISLIKES: rough play (like kids playing rough)

PERSONALITY: super sweet, goofy, chill, playful

TEMPERAMENT: chill

ENERGY LEVEL: a little hyper as soon as she gets out of crate but within a few minutes she is calm.

FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: playing fetch, getting a ton of toys out, destroying squeakers😂

FAVORITE TREAT: string cheese

EATING SCHEDULE: free feed so whenever

GOOD WITH CATS, DOGS, KIDS OVER 6? Yes to dogs, yes to barn cats. Yes to kids as long as they are calm and respectful.

HOUSE TRAINED: yes, but still has little “puddles” when she is super excited so I usually just let her out every 10-15 minutes if she has been excited.

SIGNALS TO GO OUT: She has started “crying”

CRATE TRAINED: yes!

CHALLENGES: can be very shy and timid. Does need time to warm up to men.

MEDICAL ISSUES: no

THE BEST HOME: a home where she can cuddle under blankets, play fetch, and be loved on.

🙏⚠️ Dino & Peanut live in the same house and are unfixed... that means unwanted puppies... so we are teaming up with Never Muzzled and getting them fixed tomorrow. Owner was so relieved with the help as they just can't swing the $600 invoice...
