We are looking to add a new feeder to the team! Looking for someone who can take pick up some AM & PM feedings during the week & some weekends.

Looking for someone who:
•Has reliable transportation
•Hard working
•Works great with others
•Reliable & honest
•Preferred horse experience but open to the right person

Tasks include:
•Separating horses at feeding
•Taking off/putting on fly gear/blankets
•Filling/cleaning troughs
•Putting out hay
•Operating tractor & 4wheeler
•Checking horses/fencing

As the leader and mentor at the Halvorsen Family Farm, I have the privilege of guiding these young women on their journey of self-discovery and growth. Our farm is not just a place for riding and training horses; it's a sanctuary where these young women can learn, grow, and develop into confident and mature individuals.

From dawn till dusk, the farm buzzes with activity. You'll see these young women mucking out stalls, grooming horses, and practicing their riding skills. But what truly sets our farm apart is the transformation that these young women undergo.

I firmly believe in the power of hard work and challenge. I push these young women to their limits, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and face their fears. Whether it's mastering a difficult jump or nursing a sick horse back to health, every challenge is an opportunity for growth.

Over time, I've seen these young women change. They become more confident, more resilient, and more mature. They learn to take responsibility, to work as a team, and to face challenges head-on. They develop a deep respect for the horses they work with, understanding that these magnificent creatures are not just tools for their sport, but partners in their journey.

The Halvorsen Family Farm is more than just a horse farm; it's a place where young women can grow and thrive. Through hard work, challenge, and the love of horses, I'm not just providing these young women a place to ride; I'm helping them become the best versions of themselves. And to me, there's nothing more rewarding than that.

Another excellent day on the farm. Viv turned 16, the girls celebrated and sang to her. Which she absolutely loved - if you know viv you know.

We then watched a beautiful sunset while enjoy cale and pizza brought by Viv parents.

I can’t say enough how these young women matter to this barn.

Our last summer camp is officially over! The kids got to see what a nutritionist does, learned from one of our farriers, and even got to take the horses swimming! Special thanks to our nutritionist, farrier, and camp counselors who made this possible. Stay tuned for our fall camps!

Congratulations to the Townsend family for their purchase of Harlow. Madi started leasing Harlow around a year and a half ago and fell in love with her. After constantly asking for a year if I would sell her, I finally caved. I couldn't ask for a better person to love on this horse. I can't wait to see the future with these two!

Our camps are coming up and now is the time to register if you haven't! I have several spots left for the June 30th-2nd & July 7th-9th. Kids will learn about horsemanship, care of horses, riding, and fun activities. Camps are $250 and are overnight. We will be camping at our farm. Kids are welcome to bring their own horses!
