"Why do I need to keep my pet on flea prevention all year? It's getting colder!"
Here's why!✨

-Adult fleas typically die AFTER 3️⃣-5️⃣ days of continuous exposure below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. In South Louisiana, we rarely stay below 32 degrees Fahrenheit!
-Eggs, larvae, and pupae can hide in warm spots both inside and even outside your home (animal dens, under leaves) making year-round prevention so important.

🥶❄️Don't let your prevention lapse! Keep those fur babies protected, from both the cold and fleas, during this chilly season.🥶❄️

Happy (early) Thanksgiving from all of us at Village Veterinary Center-- a few of us pictured here for our own work Thanksgiving meal!🦃 We will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving Day this week, but reopen for Friday.
We are so thankful for our wonderful clients, adorable patients, and the trust you place in us to care for your furry family members. It is truly an honor to be a part of their lives and yours.
