We, at Waggin’ Trails Rescue not only rescue dogs, cats, and the occasional horses, we just found an amazing home for Elliott and Sophia. They are now living the life they deserve.
Update: We are thrilled to announce that Blackjack and Dooley found a picture perfect new home together (complete with a view of a field of Sunflowers) on a beautifil 13 acre ranch with other horses. So happy to know these babies will be loved and will thrive in their golden years! Thank you so much for sharing them and for the wonderful offers to help! The rescue community is amazing!

At Waggin’ Trails Rescue Foundation, we are dedicated to helping the growing number of animals in need. Our efforts include rehoming animals locally and partnering with out-of-state rescues to transport animals to regions such as Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Western Canada, where shelters are less crowded, and these animals have better chances of adoption. We collaborate with organizations that share our high standards for rescue practices to ensure these deserving animals are placed in excellent homes. Our mission is ongoing as we seek new locations for these animals to find their forever homes.

Update on the Napa Hoarding Pups. The adults are being properly socialized and finding loving families. It turns out that three of the females were pregnant when rescued. There are now three beautiful litters of puppies that will get vaxed, altered and ready for their forever homes through our marvelous rescue partners at Pawsitively Saved Rescue. We are lucky that the Napa Shelter intervened when they did for the sake of these very good dogs or the situation could have quickly gotten a lot worse.
Anyone with rescue resources near San Jose Del Cabo, Baja? We have been on vacation trying to win the trust of this pup but she is very shy and I doubt we can secure her. We have been working with Bajasafe but they are overwhelmed and don't have the resources to send people out. If anyone has local contacts for a rescue that could help, we would very much appreciate it. She crosses the busy street several times a night and we are so worried about her.
