It's been almost a week since Ruby passed away, but the feeling of sadness just keeps hanging on.
I was so sure she would be ok.
I look at my precious Wookie, and at Sweet Phoebe, and am thankful they are ok.
It's crazy how quickly these ity bitty little kitties make their way into your heart

Even though she had a healthy appetite, was peeing and pooping really well, and seemed to be perfectly healthy.... My sweet little Ruby passed away unexpectedly today.
I don't know what happened, she seemed to be doing so well. But maybe that's why her mom rejected her, something wasn't right. Either way, I'm sad☹️ it takes a lot of dedication to these babies and I get up every two hours no matter how tired I am and give them the love they need.

Ruby is doing really good so far. She has no problem sucking down her formula. She is eating 2ml every 2-3 hours. Hopefully tomorrow when I weigh her, she will have started to gain weight.

This is Ruby, my new baby.
She is by far the smallest kitten I've taken in and I'm so scared I'm going to damage her.
She was only 51 grams when she got to my house. Here's to her gaining weight quickly. ❤️
