Sarah was picked up as a stray a few months ago. The sad truth is that she was likely supposed to be on someone's table this holiday season. We are so thankful that she is safe here with us, and the rest of her life will be filled with the love she deserves.

Meet Giselle, the "aggressive" goat! 🤦🏼‍♀️
So many people are fearful of things they are unfamiliar with and don't understand. After getting Giselle situated at the sanctuary, I started walking away. I heard her charge up behind me, and when I turned around, she was stanced similar to a dog right before the zoomies (iykyk). Butt in the air and slightly crouched in the front, head low. I immediately knew she was playing, so I stepped towards her, and she took off! Doing the cutest little hops, swinging her head around, and then stopping right in front of me. Who knows how long she's been alone, and then with people that were scared of her. She was so excited to have room to run, and a potential friend. I can only imagine that behaviors like this are what was mistaken as aggression.

Honeybun aka BunBun is doing fantastic! After several days of pain meds and antibiotics, it's clear he is starting to feel much better. He loves his blankets and his teddy bear, and he's been waiting out this storm all cuddled up and warm. ❤️

Occasionally, we get contacted about wildlife cases that are outside our scope. Thankfully, we partner with amazing rehabbers like Pond Digger Ranch Wildlife Rehab Foundation who can step in and provide the necessary care. This little guy's injuries suggest he was possibly clipped by a car. Poor baby was holding onto my leg with his tail for the whole drive. 😭
