The pig from the shelter that was supposed to be euthanized this morning, IS SAFE! We have named him Mr. Tasslehoff, and he is making himself at home already. Thank you to everyone that has donated and made this possible!
Huge thank you to Snouts of Sedona and @pebbleranchrescue for teaming up with us on this rescue!

Bertha and Petunia are 2 sweet little potbelly pigs that are redlisted at the Devore shelter!
They can be killed at anytime! Please consider adopting, or sharing!!!
If you can adopt, we can help coordinate, pull, and transport!
With the help of Janet Shinn and Little Orphan Hammies, we were able to save these little kune kune piggies just in the knick of time. They were living in deplorable conditions, and we're going to be sent to slaughter. We are so happy to have them safely here with us! There are 2 neutered boys, and the little girlie will need to be spayed. If you are able to contribute towards their transport and vet bill, it would be greatly appreciated! They will be available for adoption. ๐ฝโค๏ธ
Piggie ASMR! ๐
The first couple of days were touch and go with getting this little one to eat. We didn't have any information on her history when she arrived, so we had to experiment with food. She would drink a little milk, but not enough, and wanted nothing to do with her mash or applesauce. After constantly putting different foods in her face, she finally started to show interest in one yesterday! Kalambach Squeals of Joy mini pig food, and she only likes it dry surprisingly. We are just so relieved to see her chowing her meals, and being a feisty lil' piggie! We have named her Mouse, and she will be available for adoption. Dm us if you are interested in possibly providing her a forever home. ๐ทโค๏ธ
Everybody meet Mochi!
When we went to the shelter a few days ago, we saw this poor sweet boy all by himself. He limped over to us, and we knew we had to help him!
As many of you have already heard, when we arrived to the shelter on Friday, 2 of the pigs we had a hold on were already euthanized. They euthanized the 2 extremely pregnant females before we arrived, even though we cleared a stall for them the day before (by pulling the injured boy), and they knew we were coming back for them... It was heartbreaking and unnecessary, and we were confused and angry. That being said, we planned to pull 5 pigs that day, so we reassessed and did just that. We pulled 4 males from the remaining group of 9, and 1 male that was by himself.
Huge thank you to Ginger Bryk for driving, and for fostering all of them for the night, before we could take them to their new homes on Saturday.
We have been working with several other rescues over the last few days to try to assess and help with the overwhelming amount of pigs at Riverside West Valley Animal Shelter. All the pigs were misgendered, mis-aged, and mis-weighed. This made it really difficult to arrange rescue. So we went to the shelter yesterday to get information and footage of everyone there, to network. We were told by the shelter there was "no rush" so we were under the impression we had time. There was a total of 16 there, males and females stalled together, so all females are suspected pregnant. 2 of the females are ready to pop any day now. All of the pigs have mange, one of the pigs was lumping, bleeding, and clearly injured. We couldn't leave him behind and loaded him up right away to bring back here with us. With much needed footage in hand, we planned to continue to network and get homes lined up for the other 15. However, upon arriving back at the sanctuary, Snouts of Sedona got a call from the shelter. They informed them that 13 of the 15 remaining pigs would be euthanized tomorrow (so today). We couldn't believe it, and pleaded with then to no avail. It's been a tireless night of scrambling, but we managed to arrange to pull 5 more pigs today! The 2 very pregnant females, and 3 males. We are really hoping this will buy us just a little more time. If you are in a position to adopt or foster a pig, please consider! If not, and you are able to donate, we need you! 2 of the pigs need to be transported to Bakersfield on Saturday, a 6+ hour round trip with a trailer. All of the pigs will need to be spayed/neutered. If you are not in a position to help physically or financially, please like and share! More updates to come!

Everybody insists on helping with stall cleanings, and by "help" I mean biting the shavings bag, stepping on my feet, and nudging me incessantly. They're lucky they're cute. ๐
To all the amazing mothers, human and animal alike! Hope your day is full of love and joy! Happy Mothers Day from everyone here at Reject Ranch ๐
These 2 young brothers are looking for a forever home! We think they are approximately 8 months old, and they are both neutered. They are shy, but slowly warming up. Dm us if interested in adopting ๐ฅฐ

There's only 1 day left of our fundraiser, and it's been pretty unsuccessful. We need your support to continue taking on big rescues like this one. Please consider donating to their care. ๐๐ปโค๏ธ
