🐢🐢 INTRODUCING TURTLE RECALL 🐢🐢

Pulled this guy from the Irvine shelter on Friday, he came in as a stray. I think this turtle probably lived in someone’s pond as opposed to a tank because typically they don’t get this big if they’re stuck in a small tank. They will get as big as their environment allows to a point.
His shell is really deformed and his back leg is messed up. I can’t get a picture of it because every time I try, he hides it.

Look at this poor thing I just pulled her from YV shelter yesterday. She was extremely fearful so she was tagged RESCUE ONLY.
Well I brought her home so she could start decompressing in my office and I could start grooming, that’s when I found out she was infested with fleas 👹
So I gave her a flea dip, dewormed her and
gave her some Bravecto for the fleas. She had been through so much yesterday with her first ever bath that I didn’t want to traumatize her anymore.
I need to find a professional groomer or at least someone knows what they’re doing .
She is super sweet but those mats are painful she will be getting spayed at AAL next week .

Did I mention she is only one year old!!!!

Wow, what a difference a few days to make. She has a couple serious health problems that are being treated right right now and she definitely needs to put some weight on but she’s gonna be just fine. I let the foster name her (which is a big mistake )so this is “ PUMPKIN” everybody.🎃🤷‍♀️

Dying decorated Vietnam veterans dogs end up in high killl shelter.

I found that out after putting in the pull request and now I hope I can get him freedom pics before he leaves this earth not knowing what happened to them.
As a fellow combat veteran I’d like to make it known that if anyone messes with my dogs when I die I absolutely will haunt you and your entire bloodline until the end of time. I’m not talking disembodied voices and scratching at the walls I’m talking nightmare 👺👹$hit

Fun Fact if you go to dirty dog o mat in yucca Valley you have to specifically tell them you want to see the screen and chose to tip! If not they won’t even let you know that’s an option🤷‍♀️
Yes you are supposed to tip the people you trust with your animals

🆘 CAP & BUCKY NEED HELP🆘

These 2 year old fixed & friendly (dog/kid/cat) need a new home. These are not AART dogs but AART will provide them each brand new crate/bed/toys/treats/collar/leash/bowls and a three month supply of food. It would be awesome to rehome them together but it’s not required(but two 🐶🐶is better than one🐶)

Here is the email I received:
Hi Kristal!
Cap is a 45lb black mix breed with a white crest.
He has a shaggy coat and looks very unique. He is very mellow indoors but gets very excited to play outside with other dogs. He is extremely friendly and loves to play fetch and play in the water.
Bucky is a 40lb white mix breed. He is mostly a pit bull and husky and resembles a cattle dog.
He is also very mellow indoors but can have anxious energy outside and with new dogs and animals. Once he's used to a dog he plays very well and enjoys running around like a normal pup.
They are of course attached to each other, with Bucky being especially attached to Cap. Cap provides some safe energy for Bucky. Both dogs are leash and potty trained and have lived indoors in small apartments and at larger homes with a yard. They both know verbal and visual commands for sit, off, down, lay down, stay, easy, come, go, wait, shake, spin, tall, and speak. They are very eager to please someone, especially for pets and treats. Both dogs are cat and children-friendly. Rehoming them in the same home would be ideal, but I have no worries about them being separated. It would take Bucky longer to adjust but he is very mellow and loves attention indoors. Currently, both dogs are staying with 3 very small dogs that they play well

In case anyone is feeling generous PAUL and Fish are around the Jack-in-the-Box. He went out to get food we took care of that but I know he’s gonna be trying to hitchhike back to his encampment soon. So if you see him and can give him a ride that be great he’s really harmless I’ll vouch for him.

UPDATE: the cat is on her way to the vet for surgery! thank you so much to everyone that sent her money and was able to make this happen( I covered a little bit but whatever ) this girl is trying her hardest and she is super sweet. This is her first cat and she even told me that she would pay me back on the 16th like this was a loan or something. That’s how sweet this kid is. I’m so glad we all helped. Thank you so much. I will let you know when the cat is out of surgery 

UPDATE: OK so I’ve been talking to this girl and she’s just a teenager. She’s going to work at 6:30 in the freaking morning tomorrow. This kid needs a f****** break. OK I think we can get it cheaper done somewhere else but if this girl cat dies it is literally going to break my spirit so does anyone know of a good vet that can do surgery tomorrow for pyometria (it is not out of the body yet but it’s going to be soon) Guys this girl is a freaking working teenager. She needs some help

Hey remember Samsonite, the dog I had to carry around like a suitcase because he got hit by a car?
Danielle wall brought him to me at about midnight and we called a mobile vet to come over and check them out (unfortunately that mobile vet wasn’t insane person not Dr. Petris. Dr. Petris is great) so I had him at Companion animal clinic first thing in the morning and got him x-rays. I was told he needed a $6000 surgery for a dog I just found. 
Ofcourse he got the surgery that week. Unfortunately the doctor that did it put in the hip implant 90° in the wrong angle so he never was able to heal properly😭He eventually needed his whole leg removed but now he has another struggle and it’s bad.
He has so many issues including IBS, ulcers, necrotic tissue and so much more! Luckily an amazing person named Alexis adopted him and of course because she’s from Boston she kicks ass and she’s been taking great care of him.
She didn’t want me to make this post but once an AART dog always an AART dog L!! So please help if you can

I went to the Way Station to drop off some supplies for Liam only to find 6 other people I’ve been helping (plus one more that needs help.) The most critical situation is Tony and his six dogs. He has one month to move off the property and he has nowhere to go. Everyone else just needs the basics for right now. I hate that there’s no other programs that can help these people and I will try to get as much done as I can every penny I can raise will be spent on the outreach dogs.

NEW OUTREACH DOG: LIAM I was just trying to drive home and I couldn’t help but notice a homeless person with a dog and because I can’t mind my own business ( clearly) I asked her if she needed any dog food. She did and once we started talking she realized I was the person that was helping all her other friends so she let me help her. It turns out his microchip is still registered to the previous owner so we’re gonna get that fixed. I’m gonna meet her tomorrow at nine at the waystation and bring her more supplies.

P.S. I cut off the video when I went on a rant about Pedigree, my videos are chaotic enough and you know I NEVER do retakes even though it would be a great idea
