Here’s the quail that I pulled from the Irvine shelter Friday. Is he not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?

HAPPY VETERANS DAY to all my fellow vets. Especially Bravo Co 101st FSB

So take a peek at my latest crisis. This is the outer fence that keeps the hogs in, this section is also connected the the main back fence that keeps the dogs contained.
Three years ago I dug 18 inches down and put hog wire in the cement and stacked it with cinder blocks. Unfortunately my yard floods every monsoon season, I have to have 4 pumps running 24/7 just to drain my sunken back yard every time it rains.
As you can see the erosion is about to cause some catastrophic damage and take down the entire fence. That is the worat thing that could possibly happen and it’s looking like this monsoon season

One of my past adopters just messaged me begging to get this dog out of the shelter. I don’t have a place for him here but she wants to donate to his care. So anyone that adopts him AART will supply a brand new crate, bed, toys, clothes, collar, leash and 2 months worth of dog food.

🐍🦤 INCOMING INTAKES 🐍🦤

These 2 are coming to AART tomorrow from the Irvine shelter. The python will be available for adoption if he/ she is friendly.

The quail is not going to be adoptable, he’s my new emotional support quail.

I just received an email asking if I could help rehome this female Shar-pei mix.

I’m waiting on details but it seems like it’s a pretty serious situation so I’m trying to get a head start.

I AM PISSED! I took this video before Paul and his mom rolled up to my house UNANNOUNCED ( don’t ever do that ) and took him back. I told him real simply

1: you either let him stay here with me while he recovers because I have underwater treadmill therapy sessions scheduled, chiropractic appointments set up, Assissi Lounge set up and he will be getting treatments for the horrifically painful/ itchy skin he is suffering with then you can bring him back to your encampment
OR
2: you take him and slowly kill him painfully by dragging him dozens of miles everyday day and not treat him for the problems that Paul has created.
He chose 2!!

Then I run into him at Stater Brothers more than an hour later. Where is Fish you might ask??? Crammed in the back of a tiny two seated car… yes after being told his back and hips were his biggest problem!!! so yeah I exchanged some choice words with him and he told me “I have an attitude” 🫣🫣oh yeah when I spend over 12 hours on the road and over $1000 just in ONE day to help YOUR dog, just for you to find out what’s wrong and completely dismiss it all and not care, yeah I’m downright f****** lunatic! Plus I did just have to unexpectedly put a dog to sleep yesterday and it was the anniversary of losing Mitzy & Dougie & my Papa

Soooo when you see him dragging that poor dog around let him know how selfish he is being. I have supported PAUL for years. I’ve spent over $10,000 in supplies and medical care for that dog. I tell everyone I would rather take a pitbull that has killed a human before I take a husky but I’m absolutely willing to make an exception for Fish. The only way that fish is gonna make it is if he gets the help he needs.

So at this point I’m no longer willing to work with PAUL I have wasted several days of my life, either looking for him, searching for Fish and driving him around, gathering supplies for him or helping him in some way or another, so that’s completely done. I will, however, help Fish. I will take him to live with me and get the help he needs. So you can let him know if he wants to surrender Fish and do the right thing I will take him.

Now I think it’s obvious that I do not have a problem with homeless people having pet. I used to be a homeless person with pets and they were treated better than most people with homes treat their animals but now it is the point where he has conscious knowledge of the problem, but does not care that’s where I draw the line.
