Immediate Salon Assistant Position Available in Mustang!
We are seeking two reliable and enthusiastic Salon Assistants to join our team in Mustang. Each position will be part-time, working approximately 3 days per week to ensure coverage throughout our operating hours. Please note that the pace of work can vary, with some days being very busy and others being quieter.
Responsibilities include:
* Customer Communication: Professionally and efficiently communicate with clients via text, phone, and email.
* Groomer Schedule Management: Maintain and organize the groomer's schedules.
* Data Entry: Accurately input and update data, including vaccine records, pet information, system notes, and client information.
* Salon Maintenance: Perform cleaning and laundry duties to maintain a tidy and sanitary environment.
* Groomer Assistance: Provide support to groomers as needed, including prepping accessories and assisting with dogs.
* Client Services: Handle client check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and providing excellent customer service.
* Appointment Confirmation: Contact and verify unconfirmed appointments for the following day.
* Inter-Salon Communication: Occasionally communicate with our other salon locations to address issues that may arise.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Customer-Focused: Outgoing, friendly, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
* Reliable: Punctual with excellent attendance.
* Communication Skills: Possesses excellent phone skills and the ability to learn and use salon software on computers, iPads, and phones.
* Organized and Efficient: Well-organized with strong time management skills.
* Resilient: Able to maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with challenging customers.
* Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling a fast-paced environment, including managing phone calls, assisting clients, and supporting groomers simultaneously.
* Comfortable with Dogs: Not fearful of dogs and does not have severe dog allergies.
* Professional Appearance: Maintains a neat and professional appearance.
