The Underdogs Rescue Rescue, Rehabilitation, Education, Advocacy, and Community Involvement The Underdogs are dedicated to rescuing, protecting, and caring for animals in need.

Our mission is to improve the lives of pets who cannot care for themselves while promoting greater public involvement and awareness. We believe every animal deserves a loving home and are committed to connecting previously discarded animals with nurturing homes. Our special focus is on the "underdogs" of society, who are frequently disregarded due to their age, breed, behavioral, or medical condit

ions. Since 2013, The Underdogs Rescue (TUR) has been wholeheartedly dedicated to assisting Oklahoma's unwanted pets and working towards reducing pet overpopulation. URGENT SOS 🆘 🆘🆘

We had a foster lined out for this mom and 6 babies !! Application completed, and approved. We tagged this family at 4 pm once arrangements were solidified.

We received text at 6:10 pm they can no longer foster. No explanation. We count on fosters. Without fosters, we can’t help!!

We spent our day making sure we had the resources ready. I’m literally crying right now, because I let them down.

If anyone can help foster , I need a miracle, and my faith in humanity restored.

This family has been on Euthanasia List for a couple of days. They are out of time.

These wonderful folks are the heartbeat of every clinic! They comfort nervous puppies, assist with surgeries, and tackle emergencies with incredible speed. We're continually inspired by their patience, kindness, and remarkable ability to ensure everything runs flawlessly, even when our rescue cases always seem to come in at the last minute.

Say Hi to Rusty and Montana! They are Australian Shepherd mixes about 5 months old, 36 lbs, microchipped, neutered, and shots up to date.

Rusty and Montana are still learning to trust. They were not socialized for much of their youth and were found dumped in a rural area, and are a little nervous about strangers as a result. However, they are very food motivated and intelligent boys who show a lot of promise in being trained with the right attitude!

Both have passed temperament tests in group play and love other dogs, and are also fine with other animals.

Rusty is the more outgoing of the two, and is especially motivated by food. He enjoys being petted on his own terms (when he approaches for them) and loves to play fetch. He is higher energy and enjoys spending time at doggy daycare playing with his friends.

Montana (or Monty) is shyer and a sweet, more calm boy. He prefers to cuddle with his toys on his bed just as often as he plays with them. He is still uncertain about being petted, but he likes human company and will lay down near you and spend time with you at a short distance (he especially likes watching TV)

They do not have to be adopted together. With time and patience they would make a great family addition

UPDATE : Finder is keeping him. No longer in need ❤️ ♥️

Foster Needed!!🐾🐾

Puppy in need of foster home. This pup was found dumped in Jones. He appears to be 3-4 month , German Shepherd Mix. The finder is elderly and unable to care for the pup.
First round of shots and dewormer started.
Rescue takes care of all vetting, supplies and food.

Penny is a 2 year old border collie mix. She is house trained, crate trained, and micro chipped.

She is very sweet and energetic . Penny is very shy at first, then lets her true personality shine. She loves playing with her dog brother outside and snuggling on the couch after getting her zoomies out. Once she has chosen her favorite human she will let everyone know.

She has been with her current family for over a year, but it is a busy house and she needs a calm environment. She would thrive in a female only household with no children. She currently has medication for her anxiety.

We just want to highlight Juniper this afternoon

Juniper is a 5-year-old, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as her smile. Weighing around 65 pounds, this sweetheart is the perfect balance of playful and mellow—she loves a good romp, but is just as happy curling up for a cozy cuddle session on the couch.

Juniper is house-trained, crate-trained, and rides like a pro in the car—always ready for the next adventure or a quick trip around town. She’s especially fond of chewing toys and snuggle time, and she gets along great with other dogs with slow, proper introduction and older kids.

Due to an old ACL injury, Juniper has some arthritis in her rear right leg. She takes Carprofen twice daily to keep her comfortable, and it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She’ll still happily play and go for walks.

Juniper’s ideal home would have a secure stockade fence (she’s a talented chain-link jumper!) and no small children, as she might accidentally knock them over with her enthusiasm. Juniper should not have soft chew-toys because she will swallow them. She’d thrive with a family who values companionship, belly rubs, and the joy of a loving dog.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts cuddle bug and playmate, Juniper is your perfect match. Come meet her—you’ll fall in love in no time!

Our senior dog, Karlie, has been successfully adopted. 💕💕🐾🐾

After her owner passed away, Karlie rejoined our rescue and we have been seeking the perfect home for her.

We are delighted to have found Phyllis Stewart, who will provide Karlie with the care and attention she deserves.

Karlie is now enjoying her new life, being pampered and taken on daily walks.

Meet Misty, Chloe, and Ginger. These girls have been with TUR for awhile and we cannot understand why they have not been adopted. They are such sweet pups.

They are all 11 months old around 65 lbs. Spayed, shots up to date, micro chipped, crate trained, and house trained.

Chloe loves attention. Beware, if you sit in a chair she will climb into your lap and fall asleep in your arms. Chloe is great with children. She has not been around cats. Chloe loves to play with other dogs and be outside romping with them or sunning herself. She is very inquisitive and eager to learn. She does bark at strangers. Once she knows you, she is your best friend.

Misty is very loving. She thrives around people. She will go anywhere you want to go as long as you are there with her. Misty loves playing with other dogs, but mostly loves being with you and being cuddled.

Ginger loves to be with you! Loves sleeping with you but will move to the floor when she gets hot. She loves everyone, no one is a stranger. Ginger loves playing with other dogs and is very well mannered for a puppy.

These girls will make great family dogs. Won't you consider bringing one or more into your home?
