VOLUNTARY PRODUCT RECALL

NORTHWEST NATURALS FELINE FROZEN TURKEY RECIPE

The H5N1 virus – also known as avian flu – has been identified in one batch of Feline Frozen Turkey Recipe. It has resulted in the death of one cat. We have issued an immediate recall of the product.

Customers who purchased Northwest Naturals Turkey Recipe for Cats should check the “Best By” date of the back of the frozen two-pound package. If it is either of the following two dates, they should contact the store where they purchased it for a full refund. Do not feed it to your cats.

Your shares helped save his housemate and she has been adopted. Let's show Jake the same love and help him find his forever home (or a senior rescue).

Jake is a 9 year old mixed breed dog. He is dog and cat friendly. Loves all humans and is a gentle boy. He is absolutely distraught at being left at the vet office after his human could no longer care for him. By the grace of God, he has been given a few extra days to find placement. He was supposed to be euthanized on Friday, but the vet is hopeful he can avoid it by finding placement by tomorrow.

If you know ANYONE willing to give this sweet soul a soft place to land for his last few years, please call Delanie at 405-820-9131.

We are taking donations for Friends of the Metro Animal Shelter at all three stores today. There are some other options in this post for donating as well.
This rescue is important to us. They support our communities with getting animals out of shelters and rescuing dogs on the street. Their fosters are amazing and step up consistently to house and care for the excessive pets we are seeing right now. They also have fosters that drop everything and work days to trap animals that can not be caught. Let’s support them on this Giving Tuesday.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday! This is a global generosity movement that encourages people to do good and give back. You can make an impact by participating through a small act of kindness or a larger gesture. Here are a few ways to lead with your heart tomorrow:
