Our main goal at Nassau Veterinary Hospital is to provide our clients and patients with the most compassionate, competent, and up-to-date medical care available. At Nassau Veterinary Hospital we regard our clients and patients as "family" and strive to maintain an atmosphere that promotes the delivery of the best possible medical service anywhere!! Another goal of our hospital is to pursue an aura

of excellence, as exhibited by our modern equipment, caring and knowledgeable staff, and the extreme cleanliness of our facility. Our employees take pride in themselves and their ability to provide our clients with the best service possible. We are proud of our expertise, but we will be grateful to refer our patients to other facilities where Board-certified specialists can handle some of our more complicated and life-threatening illnesses. Profitability is also an important part of our philosophy. Only by executing a successful business will we be able to provide our clients with the facility, staff, and medical technology that ensures our patients remain as healthy and happy as possible.

Hello! My name is Toast!

I come when called by name, and also go by Toastie and Toe-Toe.

I am just shy of turning one and it appears I will stay pint-sized – a forever kitten! My foster absolutely adores me and wishes I could stay forever, but my dislike of dogs means I need to find a home without one. I do love living with another cat but would be fine as a solo pet also.

I am a fantastic cuddler at bed time – I find a nook on my person and sleep quietly snuggled up all night long. I do enjoy an occasional toe chase under the sheets when prompted though. During the day, I am either playing (my favorite toys are bouncy balls and slinkies), looking out the windows, or taking a lap nap if my person is sitting on the couch – I live for a good chin rub! I love to go outside in the screened enclosure to watch the birds and bugs.

I am a very social girl and greet my fosters at the door every day after work. I can be shy with strangers when they first come in, but once I see they’re approved by my humans, I am good with them too.

I always use my litterbox but do request one with high side walls because of the way I stand to p*e. I have a love of eating whatever my person is making, so I have been learning how to politely sit for a nibble instead of grabbing it myself. My foster mom makes sure I eat well but not too much, as she wants me to stay in shape to prevent any mobility issues. I had injuries to my back end as a stray but am all healed up – I want to stay lean to prevent excess stress where my injuries were.

I am up-to-date on my vaccines and have been spayed.
