Good morning from the Yuma cat hotel😻 downtown is blocked off very difficult to get in or out. We had just a few appointments I am rescheduling our day. There’s no way to come in or out so me and the cats are going to watch the rodeo parade. We are closed to the public today. They had canceled it last year so I forgot to block this one off. I apologize. Feel free to reach out to Melissa if you have any questions I am here in the hotel today.

This beautiful boy is growing back from a lion cut trim we did. Today he had a bath and a little sanitary clip around the behind area. Before grooming and results in the photo. His grooming was done by certified feline master groomer, Nissa .

Everyone that works at the cat hotel is a member of Arizona’s professional association.
being a member of a professional grooming organization as a professional, one of the things that helped me when I faced opposition, opening the hotel from city officials. I strongly urge pet professionals to become a member of a professional group organization if they have it in their area. Stay on top of industry standards, and have an organization that supports you and your work. We are proud members of our local Yuma chapter.

Thank you to the local groomers as well as our clientele who dropped off supplies today.
We are members of the Arizona professional groomers guild, and we are doing a collection for a few rescues in California for the fires. They needed food, leads and cleaning supplies, blankets. I posted a link earlier with all the things they needed and will be collecting for the next two weeks you can drop off at either one of our locations in Yuma 

Arizona is assembling! A huge thanks to APGG Board Member and Sponsor Delegate Melissa Hall of The Cat House Feline Luxury Hotel and Spa for being the Yuma Chapter drop off location for our Pets in the Palisades drive!!

It is incredible to see every part of Arizona is pulling together in support of our neighbors.

We are the Yuma drop off point for groomers and members of the professional groomers guild of Arizona, who would like to donate to help our neighbors

As of right now, over 88,000 people remain under evacuation orders in Los Angles County, with another 84,800 people on the verge of having to evacuate as well. The Palisades and Eaton fires have burned a combined 38,600 acres of land and displaced countless numbers of people and pets.

We are working together with Eddie from in a coordinated effort to bring as much relief as possible for those animals displaced, injured, and otherwise affected by the continuing fires.

Donations will be collected at the following drop offs throughout the valley, and transported to California by Mercedes on February 6th. Items requested by the rescues/fostering facilities include: dog food, cat food, cat litter, p**p bags, garbage bags, cleaners, bedding, towels, leashes, toys, and crates. Please contact her directly if you’d like to contribute to The Food Fund, which she will be purchasing at Costco prior to her departure.

FYI: the hotel is closed to the public tomorrow. There’s a large event happening downtown. AG Fest🥦 I included the flyer here. It can be difficult for some of our clientele to get in and out without adequate parking spaces available during block parties. We will be available for checking in/out of the cat hotel for boarding.
