I have exciting news everyone, Group Classes!!!!
They will be held every Saturday at various times, located in the Foothills of Yuma. They are 6 week courses that offers lots of opportunities for your dogs to grow and learn new behaviors in a safe group setting. There will be a sign-up list with limited spots available.. so don’t hesitate. New classes will start every three weeks. If you are interested, or would like more information, please contact me with any further questions. Also not to worry I will still be offering Private Lessons and Inboard Training.

I have personal experience with this baby boy and he is absolutely precious. If you’re looking for a sweet and calm young dog his is the guy to go with! He is kennel trained, potty trained, and is both great with people, kids and dogs. Give this guy a chance you won’t regret it!

🔸Sweetest dog, loves to cuddle, be petted and be with his people.
🔸Both dog and people friendly. Submissive when encountering alphas. Respectful of senior dog.
🔸Sits and stays before entering/exiting house and when being feed. Learns quickly.
🔸Calmly rides in the car.
🔸Only chews nylabones and loves his stuffed animals.
🔸No separation anxiety.
🔸Alarm barks but is not reactive to people, other dogs, cars, bicycles, goat.
🔸Making progress on loose leash training. 🔸Comes when called 85% of the time.
🔸Doesn’t jump on people or up on counters anymore.”❤️

Banjo is an 11 month old/36 lb Red Heeler and an EXTREMELY sweet boy. A mere glance in Banjo’s direction is liable to elicit some serious tail wagging. All pets and scratches are repaid with kisses and nuzzles.
He gets along nicely with his foster sister, who is teaching him puppy-appropriate manners and he loves to play with her. Banjo is very house trained, settles nicely in a crate and is getting the hang of walking on leash. Banjo is still a puppy and will need further training and confidence building as he can be a bit timid at times. He would do best with a Heeler experienced person who likes outdoor excercise, and really enjoys dog friendly activities.

I have personal experience with this young lady and she is absolutely spectacular. If you’re looking for low maintenance this is your girl. She knows how to sit, lay down, come to her name, kennel trained, potty trained, and is not reactive to dogs. Give this girl a chance you won’t regret it!

Hi! I’m JAZZY!

I’m an 8 yr old/35 lbs Heeler girl (and spayed!), looking for my forever home. My previous mom wasn’t allowed to keep me where she lived so I ended up at the Humane Society. There people were really nice to me, but no one adopted me. Now I’m in foster with a family in Yuma, AZ and I’m so happy to be back in a home, but... there’s 2 little kids here. I like the kids but it can be a bit much for me.

Don’t let my age fool you—I’ve still got s***k! I like playing ball and getting out for a good walk. I like calm, nice dogs, but I also love being the center of attention. I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY PERSON! I adore getting attention and affection and if you adopt me, you won’t regret it because I will make you feel special too! I’m also totally houstrained, will let you know when I need to go potty and I settle nicely in a crate.

I went to the vet this week and got a clean bill of health, but I need to get my teeth cleaned and maybe a few extractions. The nice doctor said I have an adorable overbite and that’s part of the reason I’m so cute! This is Misty, she’s an 8-month-old rescue puppy that I had to opportunity to do in-board training with. Misty came to me with zero self-control, chewing on furniture and was not potty trained. Misty learned how to walk on a leash, sit and down stay. Also, she will wait at doors, go to her bed, recall away from people, dogs and so much more. I’m happy to report that Misty has not had any accidents or chewed on anything since being home. Another happy, healthy, and balanced pet. She was a dream to work with and I’m so excited that her parents are happy with their !!!

I’d like to introduce you to Earl, he’s a 9-month-old Doberman Pincher that I had the opportunity to do in-board training with. He came to me with zero self-control, chewing on furniture, jumping, knocking over mom and dad and if he wanted something he took it. He knew a few tricks like sit, come and fetch, but wasn't willing to perform them without knowing they had something to give him (if he even wanted it, in that moment). Earl learned how to walk on a leash, sit and down stay. Also, he will wait at doors, go to his bed, recall away from people and dogs all off leash, run on a treadmill and so much more. Another happy, healthy, and balanced pet. He was so much fun to work with and I’m ecstatic that his family is so happy with their !!!

Socialization your dog is much more then meets people and dogs, it’s also how you go about it! If you need help with properly socializing your pets, feel free to contact me with any further questions! I’m here to help with zero judgment!

Puppy socialisation is NOT just about playing with other dogs.

In fact, too much uncontrolled exposure to other dogs can cause so many unintended consequences.

If you have a puppy, make sure you try to work on ALL aspects of socialisation, as listed in the bottom graphic.

Hello friends! 🤩 I will be attending the Westwind's Pet Paw-looza 2023!!🐶🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺
This Saturday Feb. 18th on the golf course, both the Yuma Police Department’s K-9 unit and I will be doing demonstrations starting at 11 am. My demo will be an Obedience and Tricks demonstration. As for Sunday I will have a booth, but feel free to contact me for more information! Also give your kiddos an extra hug and kiss for me on this lovely day!❤️🐾❤️

“We brought our new Labrador puppy, Luna home at 7 weeks old. She was this incredibly cute, feisty little sweetheart UNTIL the puppy nipping started and would not let up. After a month of trying everything we could think of to stop the behavior, we were feeling defeated by this adorable little shark-dog. Jessica was recommended by our vet and reaching out to her was the best decision we ever made. We tried private lessons at first and felt in-board training was a better way to go with our Luna. I'd like to introduce Lucifer, he’s a 1-year-old Great Dane, that I had to opportunity to do in-board training with. Lucifer and his mom are a wonderful team together, but he needed some help with listening and responding to her better. We started with lessons and decided on in-board training. Lucifer learned how to walk on a leash, sit and down stay, wait at doors, go to his bed, recall away from people/dogs and so much more; all off leash. He was so much fun to work with. I definitely learned a lot from him as well. I’m so excited that his family is happy with their !!!

This is Steve!🖤 Steve is a pure black German shepherd, but he is just a big goofy love bug! He deserves all the love one can offer!! Walks well on a leash, knows multiple commands like sit, down and has a great recall (even knows them in German). He also like to play in the water, and most of all LOVES BELLY RUBS🤗 He is at the Humane Society of Yuma, looking for the perfect home where he’ll be the only dog to get all the love!

This is Harvey!❤️ Harvey is a pit/basset cross (we believe) and he is in need of a soft place to land for his golden years. He is just a big love bug how loves toys, walks well on a leash, like to play in the water, and most of all LOVES BIG HUGS🤗 He is at the Humane Society of Yuma, looking for the perfect home where he’ll be the only dog to get all the love!

I'd like everyone to meet Axel! He's an eight-month-old fun Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd cross that I had to opportunity to do in-board training with. He's definitely an intense guy, but this wonderful family has given him the world and more! When they contacted me, he was unstable and very reactive to his surroundings. The family couldn't leave the house without him lunging at any passers-by, dragging them and barking at everyone (humans and dogs)! He knew a few tricks like sit, come and fetch, but wasn't willing to perform them without knowing they had something to give him (if he even wanted it, in that moment). We've had three private lessons at their house and five at the baseball fields. He can now go anywhere with his family, without verbally or physically reacting to his surroundings!

Dozer was jumping on people, counters, couches etc… He was a little dog reactive and had zero self-control, what he wanted he got. Dozer learned how to walk on a leash, sit and down stay.
