We often recommend that a puppy’s first visit be a •Mini Groom• which includes:

- Nails
- Ears
- 3-step bath (shampoo, conditioner + facial)
- Blow-dry
- Brush out
- Light tidy of the face, feet, and sanitary areas

It’s just enough to ensure all the essentials are clean and cute without overwhelming your pup! The first visit is all about training and introducing them to the sounds and sensations of grooming in a positive way.

At Shaggy to Chic, we believe in keeping the visit short and sweet. We usually recommend at least three mini grooms before a full groom. We also offer a ✨Puppy Package✨, where your puppy can come once a week for short sessions to get used to the sights, sounds, and smells of the salon while receiving services. This helps build their confidence and desensitize them, making future grooming sessions enjoyable.

Training during their critical fear periods can make the difference between a lifetime of loving their pampering sessions or fearing them. Putting in the extra time and energy while they are young makes a huge difference as they mature!

We value your time and ours. Due to an increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows, we are implementing a new policy to ensure we can continue providing the best service to all our furry clients.

Starting immediately, a non-refundable reservation fee of $20 per pet will be required to secure your appointment. This fee will be applied to your visit but will be non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24-hour notice or do not show up for your appointment.

A little color refresh for this pretty poodle by Paulina 🌸 If you’d like to add a “pop” of color to your pets ears or tail, we carry a variety of colors and it generally runs $10-$20 extra depending on size, location & how many colors you want done! 🌈 These semi-permanent colors last 8-10 washes and are vegetable based dyes from ; ingredients are listed on their website. We also carry temporary “paint pens” that are similar to colored hair wax pens and come out in one wash.
