🐾 Some Days Hit Hard…
In less than three hours today, I found out that three of the dogs I’ve come to know and care about have passed away.

And it reminded me of something important:
This job may be about picking up p**p…
But it’s never just about business.

It’s about connection.
It’s about the friendly tail wags when I walk in the yard.
Or the dogs that bark like they’d eat me alive — but over time, learned to just bark out of habit.
It’s about knowing their routines, their energy, their little quirks.
It’s about watching them grow from puppies into old souls.

They leave more than waste behind.
They leave paw prints on our hearts. 🐾

To the families who’ve lost their furry companions — my heart is with you.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of your dog’s life.
It’s been an honor I don’t take lightly.

Here are some funny and interesting dog p**p tidbits from around the world:

France: In Paris, there used to be nearly 20 tons of dog p**p on sidewalks daily. The city had “motorized p**p vacuum scooters” (called “caninettes”) roaming the streets to clean it up!

Netherlands: Some towns dye leftover dog p**p bright pink so owners are shamed into picking it up.

Germany: Some cities mail DNA-matched p**p back to offending dog owners with a fine.

Japan: In some areas, there are singing trash cans that thank you (in cute voices) for tossing p**p bags.

Spain: In Brunete, officials tracked down negligent owners, scooped their dog’s p**p into boxes, and mailed it back to them with a warning letter.

Italy: In Naples, police tested dog p**p DNA to crack down on uncollected piles.
