Lennie is a pup from our Lucille x Gus II litter. His granddad teaches a class at the local high school on how to care for small animals, so Lennie gets to be the teacher’s assistant. It looks like Lennie LOVES his job!

What a neat experience for pup and students alike.

We traveled up to Star View Farms in Gretna, VA for the South East Championship Series qualifying trials this past weekend. Things lined up for us and we were able to have some success:

🏆 With Tux’s placement on Saturday he earned his Amateur Championship!

And our Jazzy girl has started her trialing career off with a Bang! 5 trials = 5 placements.

Bonnie and Jesse’s hospitality and hard work was much appreciated. Thank you to all the judges and bird planters. And we offer the upmost respect to all the dogs and handlers we were blessed to compete with.

We are proud of our newest Trial Team member: Jazz!

She ran in her very first trial this weekend and was able to place 🥉 against some really good amateur dogs.

Got an update on another Xena x Clyde pup today…

Ryde is entered in his very first field trial next weekend and he looks like he is READY! 💪🏼

Ryde is owned by Gabe Kessinger from Kentucky, who also owned the sire to this litter (Clyde). We wish Gabe and Ryde the best of luck in all their endeavors!

Just got an update on Ace… his training is coming right along and his owner says he has a great nose. He’s going to be starting his field trial career in the spring.

Ace was a pup from our Xena x Clyde litter last year.

He is a part of the Harrington German Shorthairs Team in New York. We wish them all the best!
