Regular grooming isn’t just about looks — it's preventive healthcare!

Brushing prevents painful mats, distributes natural oils, and lets you check for lumps or skin issues. Nail trims prevent joint problems. Make grooming a bonding experience with treats and praise.

Cold weather can amplify aches and pains associated with arthritis!

Help your pet stay comfortable with cushioned beds, gentle exercise to maintain muscle tone, and ramps instead of stairs.

Swimming is excellent low-impact exercise. Weight management is crucial — extra pounds mean extra joint stress.

Ask us about supplements and pain management options to keep your pet moving comfortably!

November brings unique seasonal dangers! Antifreeze tastes sweet but is deadly — even small amounts can cause kidney failure.

Fall mushrooms pop up in yards after rain. Holiday decorations like potpourri and essential oil diffusers can be toxic. Store chemicals securely, check your yard daily, and pet-proof your holiday décor.

With Thanksgiving approaching, let's keep your pets safe from holiday hazards!

Turkey bones can splinter and cause serious injuries. Rich, fatty foods may trigger pancreatitis. Onions, garlic, grapes, and chocolate are toxic.

Create a pet-safe celebration by setting aside plain, cooked turkey (no skin!) as a special treat.

Your furry family members can enjoy the holiday safely!

🌟 Meet the Team Tuesday: Tiffany! 🌟

Say hello to Tiffany! 💜 When she’s not busy helping care for your furry friends, you can find her hanging out on the farm, exploring bookstores, or trying out new foods (especially hibachi, chicken alfredo, or tamales 😋

She shares her home with two adorable pups — Lupin, a 6-year-old pittie mix, and Margarita, her 9-year-old “baked potato” a.k.a. bulldog mix 🐾🥔.

Tiffany’s favorite time of year is autumn 🍂 and she loves curling up with a good book, writing, or taking a walk in nature. Her go-to drinks? Dr. Pepper or flavored sparkling water!

When asked what she loves most about her job, Tiffany said:

“I love meeting new pets and seeing how excited people are. I enjoy being able to comfort those that are worried about their pets in their time of need.” 💕

As pets age, medications often become part of daily routines. Create systems that work: pill organizers for multiple medications, smartphone reminders for dosing times, treat-dispensing methods for difficult pill-takers, and clear communication with all family members about who's responsible for what. Consistency in medication timing can significantly improve effectiveness!

🌟 Lucy’s Story 🌟

Sweet Lucy, an 8-year-old beagle, came to see us after her family noticed she was having some urinary issues. After an exam and radiographs with Dr. Wooten, we discovered the cause was —— bladder stones… and not just one or two, but ALOT😲

Surgery was performed on Friday, successfully removing every single stone (all 158 of them). We’re so happy to share that Lucy is now recovering beautifully and feeling SO much better! 💕🐾

We’re so proud of this brave girl and so thankful to her family for trusting us with her care. Way to go, Lucy! 💛
