🌟 Meet the Team Tuesday: Tiffany! 🌟

Say hello to Tiffany! 💜 When she’s not busy helping care for your furry friends, you can find her hanging out on the farm, exploring bookstores, or trying out new foods (especially hibachi, chicken alfredo, or tamales 😋

She shares her home with two adorable pups — Lupin, a 6-year-old pittie mix, and Margarita, her 9-year-old “baked potato” a.k.a. bulldog mix 🐾🥔.

Tiffany’s favorite time of year is autumn 🍂 and she loves curling up with a good book, writing, or taking a walk in nature. Her go-to drinks? Dr. Pepper or flavored sparkling water!

When asked what she loves most about her job, Tiffany said:

“I love meeting new pets and seeing how excited people are. I enjoy being able to comfort those that are worried about their pets in their time of need.” 💕

Create systems that work: pill organizers for multiple medications, smartphone reminders for dosing times, treat-dispensing methods for difficult pill-takers, and clear communication with all family members about who's responsible for what. Consistency in medication timing can significantly improve effectiveness!

🌟 Lucy’s Story 🌟

Sweet Lucy, an 8-year-old beagle, came to see us after her family noticed she was having some urinary issues. After an exam and radiographs with Dr. Wooten, we discovered the cause was —— bladder stones… and not just one or two, but ALOT😲

Surgery was performed on Friday, successfully removing every single stone (all 158 of them). We’re so happy to share that Lucy is now recovering beautifully and feeling SO much better! 💕🐾

We’re so proud of this brave girl and so thankful to her family for trusting us with her care. Way to go, Lucy! 💛

For senior pets and those struggling with chronic conditions or that are managed on chronic medications, we recommend blood work every 6 months to catch changes early. Based on your pet’s unique immune system, fall can bring similar challenges that we see with summer allergies!

While outdoor allergens persist, indoor allergens like dust mites and mold can increase with closed windows and heating systems.

Watch for persistent sneezing, watery eyes, or skin irritation that doesn't improve. Unlike colds, allergies don't cause fever and symptoms tend to be consistent rather than progressively worse.

Even us tough pups have off days — I managed to hurt my paw while keeping Zebulon safe. 😅 Luckily, my friends at the vet clinic gave me some love (and a few meds), and I’m already feeling better!

We’re starting the week off with a bang!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Moore for spoiling us with croissants and cookies 🥐🍪 — and to our amazing practice manager for the Alani’s, Gatorades, and water to keep us fueled and refreshed all day long!
