Swanns' Landing Pet Care Your pets' home away from home! I've been pet sitting and fostering since 2008 and have always had multiple pets in my life!

BOARDING RATES:

*Dog Boarding: $45/night + $30/night per additional dog

Cat Boarding: $30/night + $15/night per additional cat

Small animal/livestock Boarding: $10-40/night

Farm Sitting (1-2 visits per day): $20-100/day

*We do not require dogs be spayed/neutered, but please confirm with us at booking as we will not book two unaltered d

ogs at the same time. We do not accept dogs who are aggressive towards humans, cats, or other dogs!!

CAGE-FREE GROOMING RATES:

Nail grinding: $15

Your choice of shed-less shampoo + conditioner OR soothing oatmeal lavender shampoo. Dogs 30lbs:
-Bath, blow out, nails/pads, ears, brush out: $50-70
-Above + trim/full haircut: $60-120

ABOUT US:

My husband and I are NCSU graduates who share a love for all animals. I have a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a lifetime of experience. I managed a large pet resort and worked as a groomer's assistant for several years, so I am well-equipped to care for your critters and provide basic medical care if necessary. I also have experience with medication/insulin administration. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, and chickens of our own, so we do ask that canine guests are cat and dog-friendly. Our backyard is securely fenced with plenty of room to run and soak up the sun, as well as access to a heated/cooled all-weather sun room! My husband works from home so the only time we might crate is when we both leave the house, or at bedtime if requested. Otherwise, all of the pups are either outside or in the house with us. We have various sizes of wire crates here as well as plenty of blankets and bowls. All you need to bring is your pet and his or her food (as well as treats/toys/beds if desired). Netflix and chill anyone? These two are house trained and looking for a family to pay their bills while they sleep all day 🤣 They would love to stay together but it's not a must. No rehoming fee- they just need a forever family!

BETTY (white w/ spots): ~7yr old spayed female who loves everyone including cats, kids, and chickens. She does have some anxiety (possibly abused in the past) and hates thunderstorms but loves her humans and a good soft blanket!

CHICO: ~10yr old neutered male who also loves cats and kids but is not good with chickens. Total couch potato who loves to soak up the sun!

We have 1 stall board space available ~July 1st at our drama-free farm near Zebulon country club!

$475/mo includes hay/grain and trailer parking. My husband and I live onsite and don't charge extra to blanket, feed supplements, etc. Your choice between Purina Strategy (healthy edge), Omolene 200, or Amber Grains super senior. Hay is generally fescue/timothy/bermuda, etc. and we keep a round bale out year-round. Group turnout (nighttime in summer/daytime in winter) with 5 mares and separated for feeding. Stalls are cleaned daily and the barn has water/electric. We have an arena and are working on lights! There are a couple short trails on the neighboring property that we have permission to use outside of hunting season, and we're only 6mi from Sandy Pines Preserve. Our vet is Lombardi Mobile Equine and our farrier is Brian Davis.

We can't accept wood chewers as our barn is inside the pasture, but other than that we're pretty easy to get along with and welcome any age/breed/discipline. I'm generally available after 5:30pm on weekdays if you'd like to come check it out!

We're watching the sweetest old man this week who is available for adoption through ! His foster mom says he gets worked up around bicycles and other dogs when he's on a leash, but he's been totally chill here and gets along great with our dogs and cats/kittens.
