We specialize in the shearing of Alpacas, Cria, Sheep, Goats, Llama and virtually any fiber you might need shorn. It's a dirty job, but somebody has have to have the grit to do it. Not only do I have the grit, but I have an undeniable passion for these animals and the shearing of their fiber.There is nothing more satisfying than getting to work with and care for these amazing creatures, being outd

oors, and meeting amazing people (such as yourself). I have been shearing now for several years. I have trained under Jay Mariacher of Mariacher Shearing Services in Lee, New Hampshire, and I am very grateful for his help and guidance. With a couple thousand head of alpaca, llama, sheep and goats shorn, I am ready to get my hands dirty making your alpacas, sheep, llamas, and goats more glamorous and healthy for the warmer months ahead. I specialize in show cuts and a beautiful fiber blanket with minimal second cuts. I may not be as fast as some shearers, but I take the time necessary to ensure that each and every animal is pampered according to your satisfaction as a customer. Yesterday: First Shearing job of the year in Erwin, NC at Watercolor Creek Farm.

Shearing day for the Perendales! It's an exciting day that reveals the years' growth and wool quality. This ewe, "Oreo" (named by our kids) always has such fun color variation in her wool.

I was happy enough with a couple of our fleeces that we are going to prepare them for a fleece competition this spring. Perendales aren't well known here in the US and we'd love to get thier fleeces in front of some judges to build more familiarity with the breed.

A few of our natural colored Perendale fleeces are available to hand spinners, including this one. We can ship anywhere! PM us for more information.

Demand has been overwhelming. So much so that we are **SOLD OUT**!! Oysters seem to be extremely popular. So we will probably be doing deliveries on those twice a week along with our shrimp. We Haven’t quite worked it all out but we certainly welcome this kind of problem. We will be doing a turn around trip and hope to be back tomorrow. Sorry if you were looking for us this evening, never hesitate to put in an order. No matter how big or small. We are here to bring fresh caught seafood to your table!
