My name is Cathi Erb, and I am the owner of My Dog’s Care Center. In 2006, My Dog’s Beauty Shop began as a home-based dog grooming business, and by 2013 we opened our first commercial location with added services. In 2020 we completed a new state of the art facility in Harmony, PA to help us meet the needs of our faithful clients. I am proud of our great team and the opportunity to offer Outstandi

In addition to being exceptional, we enjoy being cheerful givers! You may see us at local events or helping our community by supporting the Jackson Township Police K9 Unit, Harmony EMS, Zelienople Community Park, Harmony Fire District, Seneca Valley School District, Passavant Community, and other worthwhile organizations. Sneak peak of the My Dog choir practice

Ever wonder why we require your dog’s food to be portioned out per meal per day with their full names on the container? Or how we handle meal prep for so many dogs at once? This right here is a great peek into how we handle meal prep. Our careteam staff preps all of our guests food ahead of time so that we can be as efficient as possible when it comes to meal times. They pull a report that shows our detailed feeding instructions for each dog in our care. They then go down the list to prep each bowl with any food, treats, or snacks that the owner packed, along with notes on how to feed it, if they need meds/supplements added, if they need to be fed separately from siblings sharing the same den, or if their food is in the fridge/freezer, and any other need the dog might have. Our team does this daily for both AM and PM feedings. Any dogs requiring lunches will be pulled and fed at that time since there typically are fewer of those. Stay tuned for a look at our feeding routines!

Our Story

My name is Cathi Erb, owner of My Dog’s Care Center. In 2006 our family opened My Dog’s Beauty Shop as a home-based, dog grooming business. Due to customer loyalty and the grace of God, we added services and moved into a larger space in 2013.

We offer outstanding dog care - Grooming, Daycare, Boarding and Enrichment. In the fall of 2020, we will be moving just 5-minutes away to 132 Perry Highway in Harmony. The large open spaces are being efficiently designed to help us provide the best care we possibly can. One important way we are different than others is the personalized care we provide. Our team believes the care of your dog and the service we provide should exceed your expectations.

Among other amenities, our new home will have Protect-All Flooring™ which is antimicrobial and ergonomically correct. Our HVAC system will have the necessary fresh air exchange to reduce airborne pathogens and keep everyone healthy and comfortable. Overnight boarding accommodations will include the options of large suites, open-top indoor dens, and small cage banks. In addition, we will have traditional kennel runs for dogs that are unable to be integrated into group activities, such as our K-9 Officers. The outdoor play yards will be installed with K-9 Grass™ designed specifically for dogs! Our Enrichment Program will expand to provide activities for the health and well-being of your pup, so they feel rejuvenated and you are returned with a happier, more well-balanced dog.

My Dog’s Care Center does not operate on a “one size fits all” approach. We take pride in doing things differently! We also enjoy being cheerful givers! You may see us at local events or by supporting our community in various ways. Our 2020 campaign supports The Harmony Fire District. We are called to give back at such a time as this.
